Baby In Sac

It is now 5 months from my last m/c and i find out i am pregnant the only thing is they can't find a baby in the sac. Doc think it may b/c i am not far enough along. So my question is Does anyone know how long it takes to see a baby in the sak after conceiving?

kristene - sorry for your loss. My doctor told me that she wouldn't want to do an u/s until 7 weeks if at all possible because it is hard to get a heart beat. The first u/s I had with my m/c was at about 4w 5d and we saw nothing. I was totally scared until I was able to get to see the next u/s. Keep us updated. Take care ~

I believe seeing a baby in the sac is different for every woman. Some babies develop faster then others. I think not seeing a baby before 7 weeks is normal.. not seeing a baby after 7 weeks.. is very questionable. Im so sorry for your loss and I hope everything turns out wonderful with this one. ~Kristin~

You should be able to see a fetal pole and a heartbeat at around 6.5 weeks. Sometimes if you have t_tled uterus, or something like that, you won't be able to see anything until much later. Make sure your doctor is doing transv____al u/s, not abdomen u/s
