Bleeding Outside Of Placenta

i have been spotting for a couple weeks now, on and off. i am currently 9 weeks and 5 days pre. i was told at 6 weeks i was at high risk to m/c cause the placenta had elongated and flattened out and the doc. saw nothing in it. i went back at 7 weeks 3 days and he said everything was fine. just the other day i went to the er and they told me im "at risk" to m/c. said they saw blood on the outside of my placenta. they said the baby looks fine. what does this mean? do i have a good chance not to m/c? anyone else been told this?

Go with the good news. My doctor told me to take bed rest if I had red blood and take it easy with brown, and if there were two days with no blood, to resume normal activity. That seems to be about all you can do. If the baby is okay, that's great! My baby died in the womb (I started my 10th week just now). They could tell--no heartbeat, no movement, and no sign of blood moving there on the ultrasound. Plus, I lost my symptoms of pregnancy. You are close to the 12 week mark, when miscarriage becomes less likely. What matters is the baby on the ultrasound, not the blood or any predictions from er staff, in my opinion.
