I am 36 and have had 2 mc in a year. My doctor has prescribed Clomid for my next cycle. I chart my temps and I know that I ovulate. Do you think the Clomid is a waste of time or will this make my egg of better quality? 1st mc was a blighted ovum. The 2nd I lost a 8 wks. The baby died at 6 wks. Has Clomid helped anyone like me?

Melissa, I have had six pregnancies. My first two were clomid babies due to me now ovulating. Once I got pregnant with them, it was smooth sailing. I have had four pregnancies since then. Three miscarriages and one still hanging in there (only a little over 5 weeks). These last four are not clomid babies. I asked my dr the other day when getting my pregnancy test if clomid could have affected my hormones and made my first two pregnancies hang in there and he said possibly. My third miscarriage was a blighted ovum. My first was a natural miscarriage at 6 weeks and the second was a chemical pregnancy. I don't know if this helps you, but I'm thinking I would try it.
