I went to the dr last thursday because of heavy bleeding and cramping. I was told that i was having a miscarriage. The day before i went to the dr because i was having spotting and cramps. They took an ultrasound and listened to the heartbeat and told me the baby was doing great. So i dont understand then how i could have had a miscarriage less then 24 hours after that? i still have symptoms of being pregnant such as br___t tenderness and morning sickness. is there a chance that i am still pregnant and was only bleeding and didnt have a miscarriage?

if you are indeed having a miscarriage, you could still be experiencing symptoms because you still have lingering hormones in your system. but dont give up hope Renee, go and see your doctor, get another ultrasound, get your HCG levels tested, you could still be ok...i bled with my second and third pregnancies and still went to full term.

When i had a miscarriage, i still had the symptoms for up to 2 weeks after. This was because i had still had pregnancy hormones in my body. Even pregnancy tests were showing up positive. I cant imagine that anyone would tell you that you are miscarrying without the evidence by checking your HCG levels. Jo is right, get another ultrasound and your HCG level's tested. I know of woman who have bled all the way through pregnancy and have given birth to healthy babies. Good Luck
