D Amp C And Healing

Is there anything I can do to spead up the healing process after a d&c? I plan on waiting two cycles before I try again, I'm very eager to avoid having another m/c and plan to take every precaution out there. Supplements? Baby Aspirin?

Also this is my second d&c, my first one was over 5 years ago. Will having 2 d&c's affect my ability to conceive in the future? Don't they weaken the uterus?

amy, I don't know for sure, but I just had a d & c and I decided on my own after the first week to do a lot of yoga (I already know how to take care of my back, etc. though) -- it is all about the pelvic floor, breathing into blocked spaces, etc. and I can tell you, I thought my uterus was flopping around in there and today everything feels firm and normal again. I also want to wait before trying again because I want my uterus to return to normal (I can't tell this without dr. of course). Yoga is also about letting go, and has helped me deal with emotions.

Actually my doc told me about yoga as well. He said there are some positions which help the blood flow and aid in healing. Is there a particular type of yoga you do?

Hi, Exercise is the best thing you can do. I do step and weigh training (light weigh). Not only will make you feel better but you will be in great shape for your next pregnancy.

I had a d&c in January and I joined a gym in March. The exercise helped me emotionally and physically. I am 6 days late and got a positive pregnancy test. My doctor told me I could start trying right away and I am glad I did. I bled for 3 weeks and it was extremely difficult. (emotionally)
