That is so crazy that they just sent you home. I had a Miscarriage in Aug. 2004 and I did not even know that I was Pregnant. I started bleeding for 3 weeks straight and finally went to the ER. They told me that I was pregnant but they couldn't tell how far along I was. It ended up being that I was having a miscarriage. They said that I was probably only about 4 weeks. If I was you I would go to another doc. Good luck

typically with an eptopic you will have pain on one side or the other (abdomin) in my experience the pain was so bad it was straight across and I had no bleeding. Either way - you need another opinion from another doctor. I wish you the best of luck.

Hi Yolande, I suffered a ectopic last october and a missed miscarrage in August. When i had my ectopic we were ttc and my period came as usual so i thought but my period usually lasted about 5-6 days but it went on for 10, first it was normal and then it turned very light brown so i went to the hospital because this was'nt normal for me i was also suffering abdomin pain on one side, shoulder pain and feeling presure in my bottom. the hospital do a pregnancy test which was positive but sent me home and told me to came back in 2 days as they were going to do blood tests when i went back they could not see anything on the scan but said it was a bit early they done more blood test and sent me home about 2 hour later the hospital phone telling me to came in they then told me my pregnancy blood levels had dropped and that it was an ectopic. Hope this is'nt the case for you good luck.
