Have I Had Tubal Implantaion Maybe A Miscarriage

One crazy night (how most of these stories start) I ended up having unprotected s_x. I I've never done that before, and am honestly p___sed at myself because that was stupid of me. Anyway... That was almost 4 weeks ago now. 2 weeks ago I thought I got my period but realized it was just spotting which raised the question "could I be pregnant?" That lasted about one day, skipped a day, then again, and continued to skip like that for about a week. Then the next week I got my period, but I usually get very painful cramps during my period and I didn't get any. My periods are necessarily heavy, but they are definately painful. This one wasn't spotting, but was a little lighter and was off and on like the spotting was the previous week. Then a few days after that I got the most painful cramps I have ever felt. I already get VERY painful cramps. We're talking 4 motrin every 30 mins to keep the pain mild, so this period of cramping was extreme. I was really tired and fell asleep on the couch, but was woken up by this pain that lasted about 10 seconds and then stopped. It repeated about 4 times separated by a few minutes. I was going to go to the emergency room, but it hurt too much to even move from the couch. Then once the pain stopped I just passed out. The next day I had mild cramping, but nothing like the night before. I still get cramps each morning, but they tend to go away about 30 mins after I wake up. I've been researching alot and am getting mixed answers. Please help!! P.S I have an appointment to see a doctor on the 11th, but it's at a free clinic and they didn't seem to care much about me the last time I was there. I doubt they will do anything to figure out what is wrong with me other than a paps. I don't have insurance so going to a "real" doctor won't help any.

Concerned; do you feel a lot of pressure in your abdomin? Are you urinating frequenlty and with any discomfort? It sounds to me like an eptopic pregnancy - (tubal) if that is the case you need to get to a doctor immediately - I don't want to frighten you but they are deadly if not treated. There are several ways to treat it- there is a shot in the b___t that has chemo type drugs that clean you out, or surgery because if it is an eptopic you may have ruptured one of your tubes - please I know you don't have insurance but please get to a doctor or hospital as soon as you can - I don't know where you live but in Ma__sachusetts if you walk into a hospital they HAVE to treat you if you don't have insurance. I am 7 weeks post operation from an eptopic and had all the signs you have - but it included frequent and painful urinating (I thought I had a UTI) Please let me know how you make out.

Jenn, Thank you for your advice. I'm going to call the doctor and let them know that I think I might have an eptopic pregnancy. If I do, would a pregnancy test come up positive? I have been using the restroom a lot (especially today), but no pain thus far.

Yes, you will get a positive reading on a pregnancy test - with me I missed AF April 28th - took the hpt on April 30th went to the doctor for blood test ++. Have you taken a hpt yet? Any results if yes? Please don't wait until the 11th for your doctors appt. How is the pain today? Are you bloated?

No, I dont have any cramps right now. I do get them for about 30 minutes each morning though. Well, I take that back. I got one cramp about an hour ago but it only lasted a few seconds. I'm used to getting really painful ones so the small ones don't phase me much. When I noticed the spotting I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative, but I guess that wouldn't have been my missed period anyway so I need to take one again. I'm going to go get one after I get off work today. The frequent restroom breaks weren't frequent until today. Granted I had a Moca Frapaccino this morning, I don't think I've ever peed this much in my entire life!

Concerned: It could also be implantation cramping - when I found out I had an eptopic pregnancy my cramps started on a Thursday afternoon - litterally out of nowhere - by Friday morning I couldn't walk the pain was so bad - my stomach was so bloated I looked 8 months pregnant (that was from the ma__sive amounts of internal bleeding I had) - you're cramping could be the sac implanting into the uterus. Take a test tonight and see what it says - if you get a positive result - call the doctor the same morning - tell them you had a ++ test and you're having very painful cramping - they'll probably want to see you for an ultrasound. It's better to be safe than sorry.

I will definately do that. I'll write you back tonight to let you know if it was positive or not. I've thought I was pregnant in the past and wasn't so I'm not sure if I am or not. I've just never spotted before and my cramps that one night were deadly. I don't have any of the normal pregnancy symptoms except for going to the restroom all the time. But then again, that could just be from the Moca. Hopefully we are both wrong =( I'm sorry you had to go through all of that! Are you still able to have children now?

Since you had unprotected s_x - there is always a possibility - the spotting is usually implantation bleeding - which could also cause the cramping. You could also have a cyst etc... but these are things you should find out. I just know myself that when we get pregnant again or think we are pregnant again - the slightest cramp and I'm off to the doctor. We are actually trying now. We are waiting to see - AF appeared on 6/10 and ovulation 6/24-6/25 so we are crossing our fingers AF doesn't appear July 10th. Let me know how you make out with the test. If it's negative - make an appt. anyway - see if there is a cyst or you might have a UTI or any infection and if that's the case you want to get it treated.

What does AF mean? I've seen it used all over the place.

Hi sorry, it's an expression I always used for "aunt flo" it just means my period. I'm heading home now - I'll check this site tomorrow to see how you made out with the test. By the way, do you want to be pregnant or no?

Concerned - June 30

I've always wanted to be pregnant. It's not the best timing because I'm just starting up nursing school next semester, but I'll still be happy if I am (22 yrs old). I just came out of a marriage that lasted a few years and am just happy I know it's definately not from him.

Jenn - July 1

To be honest, I don't know if anyone is ever fully ready for a baby - I have a 21 year old son and had him when I was very young - wasn't the best time but I know he's the best thing to ever happen to me. I'm on vacation until July 10th but will check in when I get back to see how your making out.
