how long does it take for HCG to get back to 0? i am in the process of a miscarriage which started on the 7th with bad cramping and clots...now there are no more clots or cramping just bleeding. how long does the bleeding last?? anyway, i bought a cheap hpt and there still is a faint line. shouldnt it be at 0 by now??

I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks, my doctor sent me for blood hcg test for 3 weeks following after the 3rd they told me I didn't have to go for anymore test that the levels were low enough, and I may spot for at least a month after. I am now six and a 1/2 weeks post miscarrage and a home pregnancy test still shows positive.

i so sorry to hear of your loss. during my miscarriage i spotted and pa__sed material. each week when i went to the doctor for my blood test, i thought, okay, this has got to be it. i think it took me between 4 & 5 weeks to pa__s everything. Once i pa__sed what i think was the gestational sac, i knew that's what was keeping my levels up. Yours could take less than a week or several weeks. good luck
