Hi, I wanted to know if anyone used a home ovulation test after a miscarriage to detect ovulation. I had a D&C 15 days ago. I was wondering if I were to take a home ovulation stick test would the fact that I haven't gotten a period yet effect the results? they are pircey and I don't want to waste them, but I am also anxious to ttc again. I just don't know if my hormone levels would give me a flase reading? Any answers?

I believe you have to wait until you get your first cycle, otherwise, it would be a waste. You have to start them mid cycle. This was my first month using them. So if I were you, since you're probably not going to be sure how long your cycle is, I would start it at as a 21 days cycle to cover days. Go to babyhope.com... and they give you a schuedule when to start testing depending on how long your cycle is. The reason I said start as a 21 day, so you dont miss your ovulation. Like this month I started as I was on a 28 day cycle, although my cycle was 35 days. I didn't want to take any chances of having a shorter cycle and missing my ovulation. Babyhope.com has great packages. Don't get discouraged b/c the results can be confusing. Good luck.
