I had a natural miscarriage at 5 weeks. The bleeding has stopped and now I am wondering can I bd yet or should I wait a while?

You can now as far as I know. I bd when I was still spotting (just barely) I bled for 3 1/2 weeks, and we couldn't wait!!

They usually tell you to wait two weeks before having s_x or using a tampon or anything else that might be inserted there so you don't get an infection. After that its pretty much back to business as usual.

Hi Sarah, I had a miscarriage at 5.5 weeks on February 4 and I got pregnant again 2 weeks later, so whenever you are ready, you are good to go.

Midwife told me I could bd as soon as any bleeding stopped. We waited a bit longer than that, and I ended up pregnant again immediately; my m/c was the 15th of January, and I conceived on the 3rd of February. So, if you are not ready for another possible pregnancy, you can wait, make darn sure you aren't ovulating (which is the second place we erred) or use very reliable birth control, LOL, although we thought we were using a reliable form!

Thank you parkermegan, kara h, k, and susan w. I think I will wait a few days, even though I feel fine. I am not up for ttc quite yet, so I am going to use condoms. Susan what was the reliable form you were using that you ended up pg anyway if you dont mind my asking?

LOL, a condom! It slipped off and well up into me, which had never ever happened to us before! I found copious amounts of fertile cm the very next morning and for the next few days. Guess one of the little swimmers managed to escape and get up there!

oh my! I guess we will have to be extra careful with the condoms...
