Hi my name is Michele -- just wanted to start a new thread since part 2 got too long to upload and I know there are many beautiful 30-somethings out there who are TTC. For those that don’t know me -- I am 33 years old and DH is 31 we live in Northern Nevada near Lake Tahoe and the California border. On October 31st I m/c and am here for the support. I'd love to hear from other 30-something ladies who are here for the same reason -- to feel better about their m/c and TTC.

Hi ya. It is almost 12:30p and I have gotten ½ my chores for the day done before I leave for the Bay Area. Even Baxter the cat wanted to come in – so now I don’t have to chase him down later on, score! I am sorta wet. Had to give Molly a bath so she looks all shiny for our portrait tomorrow. For being a water dog, she sure hates the bathtub! I had to pick her up all 65 lbs of her and place her quivering body into the tub. It was a sight to see! Now she looks like a drenched rat, but nice and clean! I have to leave in 15 minutes to go to my doctor’s appointment. Wish me luck because I hate going to the doc’s – this should be interesting, being a new doc for me and all. MINDY: haven’t seen you all day. How are you doing? SUE: I have no idea what is going on with my DH. I think it is just that time of the month for him. But he has been working 6-days a week since one of his employees when out on medical leave, so maybe the stress is catching up to him. I am not sure. DELTA: Still having fun with the baby lambies??? CHRISTY… RACHEL – how are you guys doing? Haven’t heard from you in awhile! Hope all is well. Welp, just waiting to go to my appointment and trying to dry off in the process. See ya in an hour or so. Until then… Ciao bellas!

Ok – just got back from the doctors. He is concerned about my throat. Which is nice, the other doc sent me to physical therapy. This doc wants to do tests on my throat, because it might be an enlarged thyroid. The catch… there are two options… 1. To drink barium and then do x-rays on my throat or 2. Stick a scope down my throat – he rather do the x-rays because it is cheaper on me and painless. BUT I cannot do the x-rays if I am pregnant, so they sent me to the lab to have blood drawn and we will go from there to see which route we take. SOOOOOOO, instead of waiting for AF to arrive on the 29th or 30th I will know on Monday if I am pregnant. I think this is making me a lot more nervous! Oh and top of everything my temp was 99.1. He said a woman’s normal temp is in the 97’s. So he said I had a fever. I took my temp and it was 99.0 yesterday. Could that mean anything??? AGH!! I have to finish up on my chores before DH gets home in a couple of hours so we can leave to go to the Bay Area for the weekend. Hopefully that will not make me over think this too much. My life just seems to get so complicated. LOL!

deltabwa - March 24

thats not true.. OMG thats how women know if they've O'd... temp rises after O and after O lowest (average )temps are 97.8. OMG.. cant beleive he said that. is he a new doc? maybe he means for you. but check out any website regarding post-o temps and see what range they tell ya. it maybe a little high but again, everyone is different ranges but do a search and see what you find. on the flip side... you get to know early.. ohhh im hoping for ya!!!! if not.. the thyroid thing is def. something to be glad you find early on. can cause infertility probs.

NVgirl - March 24

DELTA: i'll have to look into the temp thing. LOL, maybe I just am sick... now wouldn't that be a twist. I have never seen this doc before today... and he has white hair so I think he is in he late 50's maybe early 60's. He seemed way nicer than the doc I have been going to for the last 5 years, and I really don't like him very much to begin with. Anyhow, I am still nervous that I will get my results early... I think it was more calming waiting for AF. How weird is that? Anyhow, need to start getting dinner ready. Will talk later.

Hey girls! I am here...barely! Been very sick the last two days...fever, sore throat, and generally dead to the world. Came home from work early yesterday and stayed home today. I am headed back to the couch now. Delta - the lamb story is hysterical though...so thanks for that. Michele - keeping fingers crossed! Baby dust ladies! Sue...this should be your weekend! Thank god I don't have to worry about bd'ing. I'd be in serious dire straits!

NVgirl - March 25

Hi girls. I am in San Jose. Just snuck a few moments to say hello. MINDY: So sorry you aren't feeling well. Wish I lived closer. I'd bring ya some homemade chicken soup. Had photo taken with the folks today. It went over quite well. my puppy dog started her period after we got back to my folks home so looks like I'll be breeding her in about 10 days. Other than that... just waiting to hear pg test for monday. TTFN

deltabwa - March 26

HEY!!!! ive got a story to tell but can't now, gotta go feed the babes and then go to church. will tell all later. is that a good thing NV or bad about the doggie? MORRISON - how ya feeling today? SUUUEEEBEEEEEE - lol helll-LOOOOOOOOOO lol

Morrison1 - March 26

Well Hell-OH ladies! I am back in the land of the living. I was in bad shape over the last few days. And you know? It really chaps my hide when I end up being sick on a weekend day. Yesterday, I slept and watched movies. I tried to get up and check the board, but my head was throbbing too much. So...I can't believe all the wickedly funny things that happen with you girls. My life is so boring! Michele's dog is in heat, Delta is bottle feeding 8 lambs, Sue...running around nekkid at the cabin (you did make it, didn't you?). I wish I had something more exciting for you all. I do have to say that I am a tiny bit disappointed that I had to get this flu-thing this month as this was to be my first full month of charting temps. Now my chart is totally screwed up. I still think I should o around the 1st, so that means this will be the week to ttc, but I am going to have to use opks. The order I placed from babywishes still has never come. They said they sent a replacement package, but that isn't here yet, either. Grrr. So, I think I am going to take KC's advice (from the cervical mucus thread) and go get some digital opks. What do you guys think? So MICHELE - how is DH? Are you two getting along any better now? Are you staying calm in preparation for tomorrow's test? And about temps...I don't know anything about what a woman's normal temp is. Mine have been all over the board, so I don't have much insight. DELTA - have you had ANY sleep in the last three nights??? SUE - the cottage sounds fantastic! I hope you had some good quality time and some time to get your bd ON! OK...that's all I got for now. I will go try to round up some excitement...maybe a herd of baby gazelle to feed...you guys kill me! Absolutely hysterical.

Morrison1 - March 26

MICHELE - by the way, your offer to bring soup if you could is very, very sweet. If only I still lived in Incline!! Ha. To be honest, it is the only thing I have been able to put down, other than scrambled eggs, since Thursday.

deltabwa - March 26

MORRISON - i have had sleep. we have cut out the middle of the nite feeding and they are doing great. yuck on your being sick... knock on wood, it been awhile since ive been sick like that.

deltabwa - March 26

alrighty ladies... 4dpo for me!! yippeeee.... sometimes i love the 2ww, it so much better than the 2 wks before when it seems like it will be forever before you get to the 2ww. lol Well.... let me tell ya how exciting my weekend has been. Friday, that 1 little ram that i said wasnt goinna make it... well,, he couldn't walk, had the softest baaa, he couldnt nothing. he wasn't eating, he would stand up, take 2 steps and fall, take another step towards the wall and fall again and thats where he would stay. he wouldnt suck, wouldnt do anything but lay there. so i decided to bring him in the house and i decided i was NOT gonna let this little fella die. so, every 15 min to 1/2 hr i would go and literally squirt this milk down his throat. he wouldnt even wrap it around his mouth, i had to put it in the side of his mouth and force it down, much the same as giving any animal their medicine. well, i did that all afternoon friday and when i went to bed, all he had to eat all day was 3/4 of 1 cup of food. the rest are eating 1 c. per feeding, 5-6 times a day so this little one was withering away but i knew that was more than he was eating.. so i was shoked and so excited yest morn when he was still alive. i went to him and he stood up, (he's in a box) and started maa'ing at me lol not "baa" it was a definite "maa" lol then he ate about 1/2 c. ohh i was excited. well.. happy happy me... that little guy went back out and joined the rest of them this morning. he is now eating 3/4 c of food at each serving and when we took him out of the box to play with the others, he was bouncing and jumping all around, as they tend to do... ohhh brought tears. so i have informed DH that he will not be sold, nor eaten lol he is now the family pet rofl i got too attached to him lol and DD would wake up every morn and run to the box and pet him and try to feed him and wheever he made noise she was the first one there lol that little cutie is going no where lol now, for some funny news lol DH didnt go to the "big" city yest lolo he went to the "med" city, of about 5 thous, ppl lol and i was able to go cuz it was closer.. anyway... he dropped me off a W-mart while he did his thing. he left me in tehre for 2 hrs.. i spent a fortune but told him.. you leave me in there for 2 hrs... we are gonna be broke. lol anyway, while i was waiting for him, i decided to sit, cuz i couldnt find anything else to spend my money on. so im sitting next to this old guy who said.. my back hurt i had to sit down. i said yeah.. i have no idea where DH is. rolf,. i literally said DH lol he looked at me and was like.. HUH? lol omg i felt SOO stupid lol.. i said, oh, lol my husband .lol im spending too much time on these boards :-) naaaaaa... never ;-) (repeated on Nov/Dec). On to other things.. that annoying person... lol has stopped coming around the Nov/Dec thread :-) YIPPEEEEEEE lol she is still everywhere else but... lol

Morrison1 - March 26

DELTA -That's awesome! I love it!! Watching that little ram would have broken my heart clean in half (but then, I can't take Disney movies without breaking down, either, so...) But what a great story! I am so glad for you. That must feel like such a achievement! And your story about calling your husband your DH to the guy at the Walmart - I can totally relate. I have caught myself doing that a few times too. My dh participates in some beer-brewing forums and the wives/girlfriends are referred to as SWMBO, which stands for She Who Must Be Obeyed. Even though DH is much quicker, I must admit that their acronym is much more clever! I am so curious about who is bothering...but that is just the catty girl in me. It really shouldn't matter. I have come across a few here as well, but heck, I could be driving someone else crazy and have no clue! lol! I actually have narrowed to writing on only a few threads, but I have been reading some others. It can be a lot of work! I am glad you got some sleep Delta, and that you were able to get your "shop" on. Hope Bernie did OK this weekend....any word from her?

deltabwa - March 26

no word from anyone as far as i know. and i really wish i could tell ya who but ya never know who is gonna read, just like you do. and i would only need to say 1 thing and you would know as well, but then, so would she. they need IM's here

Suebee - March 26

Heelllooo ladies..... I just got in and am exhausted. Needless to say, DH and I had a fantastic weekend away. Much needed rest that's for sure. By the time we got up there Friday night it was late and freezing in the cottage so BD'ing was out. We did better last night.. hehe..MINDY, glad you're feeling better. I know how you feel about things getting in the way of charting.. ie your sickness. That's what happened to me last month!! It's a bummer! My opk's were way to confusing for me. I don't think I'll get them anymore. Someone mentioned tests that use happy faces or something. I think that's much better than trying to figure what line is darker then the other. Digital is probably the best. DELTA, I'm sooo proud of you!! WTG... that is so awesome. I'm so glad the little guy is doing well now. It's cute that you've made him the family pet..LOL!! That's way to funny about the DH and the guy in Walmart!! Definitely too much time on these boards. Their so addictive. MICHELE, good luck tomorrow. I hope you get a BFP. I'll be thinking about you and praying to. Oh, and I hope your throat is feeling better!! Well, I should go and unpack. Long drive home (5 hrs). I just wanted to check in. MIssed you guys!!! haha.
