Is It True It Is Better To Ttc After Miscarriage

Dear ladies, I read some of the posts and sorry for the losses and congratulations on new pregnancies. I'm in US and came from China originally. Most Chinese doctors say it is better to wait one year to ttc after a loss, so the uterus can fully recover. I searched on the internet and found some study show pregnancy after one year would result in higher rate of miscarriage, compared to pregnancy within one year. I had an induced miscarriage last month (no D&C or surgery used). Should I be able to ttc right after my first period is back? Or is it better to wait at least 3 months? Any advice? Thanks. MRStr.

hi tr, i've never heard to wait as long as a year! I'd go nuts if that were the case :-) But, it does seem pretty standard to wait 3 cycles (whether that is 3 months or sometimes longer because it seems to take time to get back into regular cycles after any type of m/c.
