Hi All.I suffered a miscarriage couple of weeks back.I had irregular cycles prior to conceiving.Doc says I should wait for 4-6 weeks to get my period back. And If I have some problem with that she might put me on provera for some time. Can I try to conceive while on provera? Also I have read that provera does not help ovulation so If I am not ovulating on my own can I also take chlomid while taking provera for ovulation?Really Really appreciate ur time and input on this. Thanks

Hi Meena I am also trying to conceive my 2nd baby. I have a daughter who is 3 yrs now and was conceived naturally. I have been trying for a second baby for quite some time now, my doctors think i have polysystic ovaries syndrom but it is not dyiagnosed yet. I have very irregular periods, or better yet hardly have them some times. I am seeing a fertility doctor now and she put me on provera. I have to take it for 10 days and then wait for my period. Provera actually stimulates your periods. Its just to make sure they know when u will or should be ovulating around. It is not meant for helping ovulation. But after using it the doctor might prescribe chlomid, which helps u ovulate, and ovulate more frequantly some times. I hope this is helpful.
