Megan - I'm so sorry! I lost my baby at 15 weeks. I didn't have to give birth, I could still have a d&c. I am a few weeks out now, and the pain does lessen. I can now go to work and function. I still get sad and I still cry, but less every day. My doctor, who also lost a baby, just told me this week that the the hurt and pain will grow smaller, but it will always be there in the corner of your heart. Since you are so young, I know its even harder. As everyone grows older, we learn that when something bad happens it really hurts, but we know from previous experiences that the pain does get better. You will eventually feel better. But for now, its ok to be sad. Be sad as long as you need to be. You will probably also get really mad and angry sometimes. Thats ok too. You are ent_tled to your feelings. If you think you should get counseling, then I would. You know yourself best. Be good to yourself right now. Take care!
