I had a miscarriage almost 6 wks ago now. I bled for 3 wks after. I still havnt had af, about a week ago i thought it might be coming as i kept getting blood streaked cm, but still nothing. The last time i had my hormone levels checked they were at 28 almost 2 wks ago. Going again on fri to get them checked again. I am getting really anxious for af to come so we can start ttc again.

Hey Julie, Hang in there - it took me 11 weeks to get af (but I had risidual tissue so it was exceptionally long) Basically my cyclye only started when my HcG levels were near zero. I ovulated 2 weeks after this and got AF 2 weeks later - so it took me 4 weeks from when my HcG level finally came down. So, hopefully things will go back to normal soon for you. I know how you feel I was going crazy wanting things to get back to normal so we could ttc. This is our first month trying since the mc towards the end of Feb. Some people get AF really quick after a mc but I also know a lot of people who can take 6-8 weeks so hang in there.

Hi Eva, Thanks for replying. God 11 wks, bet you were going crazy! I am hoping it wont be too much longer for me now. I actually took a hpt today (i have been using them to check if levels are at zero) and today is the first time its been negative so i'm asuming my levels have hit zero. Fingers crossed anyway. Hope this month is lucky for you and you get that bfp!!

Thanks - hoping for the bfp as well :) That's what I did I took pg tests till they came out negative. It's weird though because then I turned around and now I am hoping that they are going to come out positive! Yes it was long for me because I ended up having to have a repeat D&C... Anyway GL - hope AF shows up soon!
