Ovulation Test After Miscarriage

I m/c naturally 2 weeks ago and the spotting stopped completely yesterday. When doctors or articles state that one should have her period 4-6 weeks later, is it counting from the day of the m/c or the last day when the bleeding stops? Also, I noticed some light mucus today and I wasn't sure if I should test if I am ovulating (was told ovulation kit not accurate straight after m/c). Any advice?

I am at the same point as you and have found no help on the issue. I lost my baby at 18.3 weeks 2 weeks ago. The bleeding has stopped but i am wanting to know when i will ovulate and when to calculate from. Its all so frustrating. Sorry i couldnt give u any advice but i couldnt go past this post without telling my story.

I found out that if the m/c is early on in the pregnancy than you should have a periode 4 weeks after m/c But I don't know. I had m/c 14 days ago. I did have a natural m/c just before my scheduled d/e, which I had anyway. And I hope to have my periode in two weeks. I do think I ovulated last weekend, I started spotting a little bit. And hopefully we can start ttc again next month. The wordt part is the waiting... isn't it?

Thanks Elshar & Petra! Yes, the waiting is killing me, I am hoping at least if I dun ovulate, my period to come soon so that I can better predict the next ovulation.

I m/c naturally 5 weeks into my period, and have read alot about ovulation....I am now ovulating and it's a week after I miscarried. The reason I can tell is because my fluids changed as well as I felt my cervix...when you are ovulating your cervix opens. When you are not ovulating, your cervix closes. It's easy to tell, and a very good way of knowing yourself better. Good Luck to all of you Ladies in trying for conception...it can be very frustrating, trust me I know, when you are wanting to have a baby so badly. God will bless you when it's time. Take Car and Good Luck!
