Ovulation With Positive HPT

Hello. I am new to this site. I have recently had a miscarriage after my first pregnancy gave me a beautiful baby girl (11 months old). I miscarried (day of most of my blood loss) on 18th June and a week later - 25th June had a D&C because my body was not properly miscarrying the remainder naturally. My doctor told me to start trying whenever I want to. I was only 8 weeks pregnant when I lost the baby (measuring only 6 weeks gestation). I did a HPT today and got a very faint line (almost non existent) and was wondering if I will still ovulate with what appears to be a small amount of HCG left. I know most sites say that you do not ovulate till HCG levels are at 0, however, I have noticed a lot of signs that I might be ovulating. Has anyone had a similar experience? I really want to be pregnant again as I feel it is the only thing that will make me feel better about the loss of my baby.
