Positive Test Period

My partner and I have been trying to get pregnant again after my first miscarriage. I had a D&C about 2 months ago and have been trying ever since i stopped bleeding from it. After trying for about a month and a half, we finally get a break and recieve a positive preg. test. It was out of coincidence that i discovered the positive preg. test. I had taken it early that morning and saw it was negative. Looked at it a couple hours later and found it was positive. Knowing how after a certain amount of time the preg. test may not be valid, i waited the next morning to take another test. This time I realized it was positive from the beginning. My partner and I were elated and began making plans. However the very same day, i began my period? Its not implantation bleeding. The bleeding is consistent, red. and painful. could this be the beginning of another miscarriage? I just found out i was 'preggo' that very same day. Its been two days already of consistent bleeding. My hopes have minimized and i have been driving myself crazy with confusion and doubt. We have been planning to call my Ob/Gyn, but until then i'd like to hear some opinions as to what possibly could be happening. it feels like my period. I know it is impossible to be pregnant and have a period. am i losing my baby? was it two false preg. tests??

I don't really know what to say. I will say that I don't trust the first test. If you have to squint, rotate, or hold the test under the light in order to see the positive its not a positive. If you wait and it later appears its more than likely an evap line, not a real positive. But I'm sorry to hear you took another test and then this. Good luck with the OB.
