Pregnancy Test After Miscarriage

Hi all!
I had a m/c 6 days ago...Not being able to believe it I took a pregnancy test today and it was posative..What does this mean? I haven't had a scan yet, i'm due in tomorrow to see if all is gone. So I'm just confused

im so sorry for your loss Maria, the pregnancy test would have been positive because the pregnancy hormone HcG will still be in your system. it will stay there for possibly a couple of weeks. take care. if you need any more info just post again. p.s i have made a post where you can contact me regularly it t_tled 'the waiting game'.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I have been taking tests since my miscarriage 3 1/2 weeks ago and I only tested negative yesterday. People have posted on here that they tested positive from miscarriage 8 weeks after. I would continue to test on a weekly basis especially if you are thinking ot ttc straight away. That way when you do get a negative after that if you get a positive you know it's real.

I am sorry to hear about this. The more I read, the more common it seems.....I would also guess you have hcg left in your system. Keep you head up! I think I miscarried yesterday.....I had a BFP on Thurs (2 actually), then yesterday I had a BFN, had my blood work today, then came home to brown spotting, and period cramps! I'm just going to keep on going, I can't let this get to me, and you shouldn't either! Best of luck!

Hi and thanks for all your kind words..I think I was just wishful thinking. Can't get over the fact that I have now lost two.
I just need time for it to sink in.
