You CAN use any thermometer....The best kind to buy is the one that has 4 digits! like 98.52 instead of just 98.5.....it just gives you a closer look at your temps. My Dr. requested that was the type I bought. But, if you don't want to buy another one....the one you have should be fine. Just make sure the batteries are new...so they don't get low in mid cycle...that could cause your temps to change and disort your chart!! Good luck!!

the one i have is only 3 digits but i can see why 4 would be better. not sure if i'm ready to start charting yet but i still have a couple weeks to think about it. thanks!!

Hey! I hate charting!! When it gets closer to O or test time and you are hoping your temps do a certain thing, I can't even sleep!! I have dreams of what my temps will be! lol. I am crazy I know!! I think I got pg so fast before because I just had s_x and didn't worry about it!! So, unless my Dr. ask me to chart, I am just going to bd around 13-15 and see what happens!! lol. I am not going to stress out like last time! I am glad I didn't get pg now, because I want our child to be conceived out of the love of that moment, not from me saying we HAVE to have s_x right now!! lol. You know?? Good luck to you!! Sometimes I just think the less you know the more sane you are!! lol
