I had a missed m/c on May 15, 2006 I was suppose to be 11 weeks 1 day but the baby pa__sed at 6 weeks 6 days, I m/c'd naturally on May 19, 2006. I than had a chemical pregnancy on June 23, 2006 which was very upsetting as well. After that I didn't have a period for 2 months, which an ovarian cyst I had is seen as the culprit. I finally had af on September 3rd and started temping with fertilityfriend and drinking a soy drink (I just craved it it is so yum yum). Well my cycle was the shortest it's ever been in my life even on BC it was 28 days and I got my little bfp at 9 dpo and than a nice BFP at 11 dpo. I am currently 25 weeks and 4 days and wish everyone here good luck and *~*TONS OF STICKY BABY DUST*~*

Gosh, its just crazy and unfortunate how common m/c are. The only way i can look at the bright side to this, is that we know WE CAN get prego, now just gotta make the little bean stick! DowwnbutnotOUT thanks for sharing.. so awesome your half way thru, i cant wait till i am! Rhiannon, twins?? Amazing!!! Good to hear the upbeat stories..hope we can hear LOTS MORE!!! Linds99 keep me posted on your status.. love to hear! Im hoping af starts ANY TIME now.. kinda ironic how im actually looking forward to this one this month!

Hey Tiffany it's no comfort just now I'm sure but they estimate that at least one in four pregnancies miscarry it is horribly common, and most women who miscarry once will then go on to have a healthy pregnancy the next time as in most cases it is a random chromosonal "error" for want of a better word. it is the most awful thing to lose a baby, whatever stage of pregnancy and I am so sorry for your loss. I know the pain only too well and I wish you a healthy happy pregnancy. God bless x

I had a m/c at 5 weeks in August 06 and got pregnant about three cycles after (not due to lack of trying!) Now I'm on my way to having a healthy little baby. I'm in my second trimester at almost 15 weeks, heard the heartbeat, have a baby bump, everything is going great! I know its hard and I know you think there must be something wrong with you, that maybe you can never carry a child. I remember feeling that the loss of this baby must mean the loss of motherhood all together. Its not true. Just because you have a m/c it doesn't mean you have a greater risk of having another one. Its still about the same risk as any other woman, and completely random. You just had a bit of bad luck this time around. Not to mention that after a pregnancy (even a loss of one) you become more fertile afterwards! Keep your hopes up. You all have every chance of becoming a mother.

My mother's friend is the only one I can think of..she had a little boy, her first pregnancy, then miscarried, and got pregnant right after that one, and had a healthy little girl. all the while with health problems, I'd say it's a good record. <3

hi tiffany79 ... I had an early m/c on xmas 05 , chemical pg , at 5 1/2 weeks ... was my first pg after ttc for 4 months , my period came right away with the m/c and dr. told us to wait at least 3 months .... well , we did , but after going thru all that pain and those awfull months we came to face anovulation , had to go thu a lot of tests an after 2 more months decided to go on treatment ... After one month of treatment we finally conceived on late June and let me tell you that it wasn´t easy , at 6w I had a subchorionic hematoma , threatened m/c, and then again at 8 weeks , had to be admitted at the hospital for a week cause the sac was litterally hanging by a thread ... I was put on strict bed rest for 6 weeks and after SOOOO much praying .... I´m HERE ... 36w 4d pregnant !!!!! only 24 days and with Gods help my princess will be here.... I know now it seems like forever , but maybe it helps to try to picture you in one year from now ,at this time last year I just wasn´t getting pg ... You´ll see God is great , kind and has everything planned for u , and he will help you and soon soon you´ll get to be a mommy ... I know I´m not there yet but thought my story will help ... BABY DUST FOR ALL !!!!!! xoxoxox andrea

Hi Tiffany79; I had two back-to-back miscarriages in the ealry part of 2006 - was a very difficult time. After my first miscarriage I fell pregnant again with no af in between....and then lost that baby too. After my 2nd miscarriage I decided to take things a little slower, so took 3 months of ttc, time to let my body and heart heal. It was a great decision; after 3 months I felt ready again, and fell pregnant in July. I have had a great pregnancy all in all, and am now almost 37 weeks - having a c-section in just 10 days! Apart from myself, I personally know of many women among my friends and family who suffered miscarriage (sometimes several) before having their baby/babies - my Mum, SIL and 2 close friends among them. So have faith - it will happen :) JuJu

Hey Tiffany. I had a miscarriage on April 24th 2005. It was devastating and it was my first pregnancy. I was 7.5 weeks. I am happy to report that six months later I got pregnant and now I have a beautiful little girl. What helped me to get pregnant was to take 2 mg of folic acid daily. I know that they recommend 1 mg daily but increasing the dose seemed to have helped me in getting pregnant again. I also took evening primrose oil capsules from the time of my period until ovulating. That helped with my fertility. Also, my DH took zinc supplements because it helps to incresase the motility and sperm count. I hope that this helps you. I am so sorry for your loss and I pray that you will get pregnant soon. It can take an average of 3 months to a year to become pregnant. Take care.
