Welcome gorgeous ladies.

Tory1980 - February 21

Okay the last thread was taking forever to load so I decided to make a new one. I have only skimmed as trying to find time to do anything this week is proving harder than expected. Erica, the back to back contractions are known as camel back contractions during labour and are often dut to wrong position of baby. I got them with Imogen while she was rotating and they are agony. It's all good signs here but if we are 3cms (comtractions of not) we are considering in active labour and we are admitted. Be careful of any chages as theings could move fast. Stripping the membranes I found to be more uncomfortable than anything - more a rough internal than actually painful but it still sems to be working for you! Duckie, ready for tomorrow? For me I am suffering from Laryngitis and not only is it bloody annoying it is also painful. i am on straight-up penecillin and painkillers for it and I hope they start to work soon. Imogen had her first set of jabs and she was slightly pee'ed off but actually took them pertty well whilst firing a dirty look at the nurse! LOL! She pa__sed her a__sessment with flying colours! Lori, a lot of people say she looks like me - poor child! I hope she grows out of it! Anyway, i am sorry it's a real quick one again. Will try and check in later but if not Good Luck Duckie and Erica!!! I hope those babies don't give you too much bother! Hello the rest of you lovely women! I hope you are all keeping well!!!!

Ooops posted after the new thread was started, so I'll copy my huge rant again. ;) Glad Hannah is staying put for a bit and you got some rest, Erica. Lori- I had the orange one too- blech, but I drank it fastfastfast which helped- hopefully fruit punch is better? 9lbs in a week thats awesome Kristin- Kayden will be here so soon! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Kathy- a little early since tomorrow I'll be busy (OMG I CAN'T believe its almost time- 6am tomorrow!) - guess your sorority sisters will have do the 21yr drinking for you, huh? Have fun! Your photos are SO CUTE Cynna, and how awesome for your and DH's work to spoil you! Thanks everybody for the well wishes and for the piczo info! If you can believe it, I actually updated my page with pics... amazing what I can do when I don't go to WORK! I really should have gone today, but decided I didn't want spend my last day to myself dealing with those idiots- esp. becuase I'm pretty upset with the place for a number of reasons. One of them, I must whine for a bit- EVERYBODY else that has had a baby (including the men), or gotten married, or had any other life-change event gets an all-staff cake and little party (there are only 70 of us). They also send a card around, and if you like you put in some money for the person. Well, everybody gets this, BUT me. WTF? Why don't I rate? Esp. knowing how many of those cards I've contributed to! I don't know who is supposed to organize it, but whoever it was, it didn't happen- neither my work people nor my DH's did a darn thing. I just left on my last day, and the one person that noticed said "oh, so that means you're not doing that project?" Ugh. I know, I know, very selfish to complain, but it still hurts if that makes sense. Ok, over myself now. Alright better go clean this mess up and get stuff ready (I don't think I'll ever be ready!)- be back later to say hi to those I missed (sorry, as always). Maybe I can get DH to take me to dinner tonite...

This site is getting bloody annoying! Duplicate message now! I hadn't posted one! Anyway! Hello lovely ladies. Erica those contractions are known as camel back contractions and usually occur as the bay is rotating. Be careful as things can move quicker than expected. At 3cms here we are considered in labour and will be admitted. Lori, a lot of people have said that about Imogen looking like me! I hope she grows out of it! LOL! Duckie, ready for tomorrow? Krisitn, congrats on your exhibitionist showing off and all is well with him. He certianly likes causing problems though? Already kept you on your toes during the pregnancy I dread to think what he will be like when he is here! LOL! For me it is Laryngitis and not only is it annoying it is bloody painful! I am on penecillin (straight up) and painkillers wiht Zantac every night. Imogen has had her first set of jabs and took them pretty well all things considered. She was pee'ed off and gave the nurse an evil look as she screamed but since it was Daddy holding her I had to smile! Anyway, just a quick one. Hope to check in again. I miss you all! Have a good day lovely ladies!

FrancesM - February 21

Jen, mercy! What a rough day for you huh? That irritability could be a very good thing ya know! Um, I am guessing that breathing deep is not working? How about chocolate or something greasy like french fries. Would hat help? What if you just get up and away from your desk for a minute and walk outside. I am sorry you are having a rough day even if it is a good sign! I send you a hug but don't squeeze me too hard! LOL

MPear - February 21

JEN: OMG, your post is hilarious! I don't mean to laugh at you I just completely understand. If you can get up and clear your head - take a short walk or get some fresh air that can really help. Also, being aware of it is a good step. LOL. Its a good sign however ... DUCKIE: For the love where did the time go?!??!? TOMORROW? I can't believe it. How are you feeling? Perhaps your office had a bit of an organizational mess-up and didn't get their act together on time. I can't imagine it was a purposeful slight, no? In any case, I can totally imagine how c___p that felt. If we girls could throw you a little shower with cake you know we would! FRANCES: Whats news? How are you feeling? Hope everyone else is well. I'm WAY busier than usual for some reason. Plus, we're heading to England in 2 weeks for a visit. Can't wait. Also, we had close friends have a crazy birth experience last week and their little one is still in the hospital. We're all kind of shaken up about it. Needless to say, Alex and I have LOTS of questions for our OB next appt. I'm ready to start thinking about birth even though its still 15 weeks away.

ZenGirl - February 21

FRANCES- you totally get it! that is EXACTLY how i feel. i am not a big chocolate fan and i haven't really been on regular potty going schedule so eating something heavy does not sound appealing. i am afraid if i walk around on property (apt complex manager) someone will stop to chit chat and i just don't have enough in me to do that. i am afraid i may be rude on accident!! i have tried the breathing and counting thing too!! I was wondering if this feeling could be a good thing (a possible sign). if it is, i am completely ok with that!! i will walk around in all of my nastyness and be happy about it! i just have to send out warning flags or something. i already emailed Patrick and told him to tread lightly today!!! oh.. and thanks for the hug, Frances!

ZenGirl - February 21

MAGGIE- there you are! i was just thinking about you this morning. i am sorry your friend had a scare. i hope everything turns out alright. wow your trip came up fast! make sure you take it easy. that long travel is not forgiving sometimes! how long will you be gone? do you have any new pics you want to share??

FrancesM - February 21

Jen, um, I am not sure what else to offer for some relief. I just hope you get it soon! Hi Maggie! All is well here. I go in March 4 for another u/s and I am counting on finding out what we are having. England, how fun! I am sure you will have a great trip. So sorry about your friends. I hope everything turns out ok will all of them. Ok so I have not told work yet that I am expecting. I was going to wait till after the next appt and or amnio. 1 of my coworkers is hot on my trail trying to figure it out. She is making me laugh. She told me that I should take a test to check cause I have been acting strange lately. Now that we all work from home, there is just not that connection anymore with any of them. It is almost like I feel like it is none of their business. I did run into a different coworker on Monday and I thought she might have told this one that I had gained some weight or something and that is why she was asking. I might tell sooner than later we will see. For the meantime, it is my business. Ok so I did a bad thing, I bought one of those cheapy fetal monitors from the Wal-mart. Yes, everyone, I know better. I just had the itch to listen. Well, I read the book and it said that you should not could but should be able to hear heart beat, hiccups and kicks at the beginning of the 3RD trimester. Hell, what is the point then? I did hear it before on Dh's cousins monitor but could not get a clear reading last night or today. I can hear it but I can not get close to it. Does that make sense? The last time the Dr checked she had to like jab the doppler in my belly to get a good reading. So back to the Wal-mart to return it. By the way, no I am not freaking out that something is wrong...LOL

FrancesM - February 21

Cyndi, is the the right time for him to be in town?? I hope so!

cyndilea1973 - February 21

FRANCES---NO , unfortunately , I am only cd7, and the earliest for o would be day 14, 15, 16..so I don't ' need ' him until Tuesday at the earliest! Dang the luck, if this were only next week I'd be getting knocked up FO SHO !

cyndilea1973 - February 21

And I meant to say that I was sorry to hear the WalMArt doppler especial el c___ppo sucked Frances! Didn't the other fine ladies mention this a while back? I know I will more than likely to get one some day when I am pg so that I can listen to the little one to keep me sane. How much are they to rent? I am sure the cost for the sophisticated type would be worth the peace of mind, but I dont blame you for trying the other one just for grins in case it might have worked!
