We're thinking of trying again after 2 miscarriages. I wanted to try taking progestrone, this time and wanted to know when to start taking it (do you take it before conception?) and what's involved People are also talking about baby asprin? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello I have had two miscarriages as well, I and my husband went thru a series of testing coming back with low hormones on my part, I am now on progesterone 200mg a day and baby aspirin. We are now pregnant for the third time and so far everything is normal, i would suggest talking to your doctor about the progesterone, it will help, Good Luck!

Baby aspirin helps to keep your body from rejecting the fetus (autoimmune response)..Almost all women who undergo ART are advised to take baby aspirin. If you've had previous m/c's, and your MD recommends progesterone supp. I have read that you should take them following ovulation..if you do not fall pregnant, you stop taking the supplement so your period will begin..if you do fall pregnant, you continue to take them until about 12 weeks when the placenta takes over. This is what I have been told/researched..your MD will recommend what is best for you! Good luck..baby dust to you!

I've had 3 m/cs and am now preg. again. My fertility specialist put me on 200 mg progesterone (v____ally) 2x per day and 1 baby aspirin / day upon learning that I was 4 ws pregnant, and I’ve so far had much success.
