TTC After M C

Ok, I m/c two weeks ago and dr said it was ok to ttc again asap. Today I noticed what seemed to be very fertile c/m. But I didn't think my hgc would be down enough to O by now, so I took a hpt. It showed up with a faint positive, so should I guess that it's from the m/c? I mean, I don't think it's from dtd yesterday, lol, but would my levels still be so high that they showed in a hpt?

I showed up positive on a pregnancy test a week after my 2nd m/c (and my levels had been too low from the start as it was a blighted ovum.) They tested me again a week later at the hospital and only then was it down to 0 so it wouldn't surprise me if yours were not quite down to 0 yet. I'm so sorry for your loss and I hope you have good news very soon! xx

If you had a m/c 2 weeks ago and are showing a + hpt than it is left over from your m/c. 2 weeks after my m/c I was testing positive as well as my lvls were still at 141. Most tests only need to be 50 or 100 to test positive. I don't know who far along you were but your hcg levels will reach into the 500,000 - 700,000. That is in the 5th month I believe so... Keep that in mind.

it took me 5 weeks after my m/c to reach 7. the week after I got af.

I'm getting myself confused, lol. So you don't O until your levels are below 5 or you don't get af or both?

Just to let you know some women do not ovulate after have a miscarriage right away, although you may still get your period.

L - I had a m/c and d&c on March 18th. Up until two days ago I showed a faint positive line on hpt tests (I am not ttc yet... just curious on where my hormone levels where). I would think your hormone levels are still present. It takes 8 - 14 days after o day to get a positive on a hpt test... so the timing doesn't really work yet. Also, I think you have to reach 5 for your cycle to resume.. but I have also heard conflicting information on this too. Good luck.. hopefully you will get a + hpt soon.
