Vanishing Twin

I had an ultra-sound yesterday that showed Baby A doing well but that we had lost Baby B. Of course, as with my previous miscarriage I was told there was no way to tell when or why. I've been bouncing from being sad & angry to thankful & happy, depending on which baby I am thinking about. Has anyone expreienced this who can give me some positive results for the remaining twin? I am scared to death to lose this one. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Steff . I keep the ultra-sound pics with me at all times & I look at them to remind me of what I still have to fight for. It helps some. I have a follow up apt on Monday & should get info from my Dr.

Im sorry for your lose, I have had a m/c recently myself. My mother was actually pregnant with twins and had one pa__s at about 8 weeks. She claims that they were doing a u/s when the heart stopped. She still feels sorrow over her lose but takes comfort in my little brother (the surviving twin), she says that one was taken but she takes solice in knowing she has him. Oddly enough my mom had 4 of us and my little brother is the closest with my mom and says he has an undying love for her and she is thankful to have him. BTW he is perfectly healthy and has never had any health problems. Take Care XoX
