Why Wait 3 Months Before Ttc After Miscarriage

I don't know why things would be different in Australia but, here we are given the okay to ttc immediately after miscarriage as long as your emotionally ready, with the hope you will be pregnant again before the due date. I've had 4 early miscarriages this year, 6 in total in 2 years. I'm just curious as to why you ladies as told to wait.

hi Julie - i was told (in UK) to wait for one cycle, though I don't know if there is actually any good reason for this beyond more certainty about ovulation dates. i just miscarried a few days ago for the first time and am keen to try again.

I was told to wait one cycle after my natural miscarriages before trying again (we weren't trying either time!) I was told to wait two to three cycles after my d&c because he said he really worked and cleaned me out good and was worried the lining wouldn't be sufficient after only one cycle.

It depends of when your miscarriage happened. I've had 2 miscarriages this year. The first at 51/2 weeks and the doc told me to try right away. The second time at 15 weeks, I had a D&E, a month ago and I've been advised to not try for 3 months. I still have not got my period anyway.

I had a misscarriage on 9/6 and my doc told me to wait 3 cycles. He didn't say really why to wait. He said I was in no greater risk in having another m/c, and said everything was healed. so what do you ladies think is 2 cycles enough or should I wait? I can't get ttc off my mind I stay at home with my son thats 3 and have to much time to think about things.
