Hi all, I am new to this site but I am looking to comunicate with some women that have been in my shoes. I had a miscarriage in Oct 05 and then again in Sept 06. I am now 7 weeks pregnant. My problem is that I am worrying if this baby will make it or if I will lose it too. I don't go to the doctor for another 2 long weeks. I have had some minor cramping in the last 2 days but nothing serious. I still have all the rest of my symptoms as before. The last 2 miscarriages I stopped hurting in my br___t, well they have not stopped hurting one bit. Can anyone just give me some advise on ways to get my mind of it. I don't want to stress out the baby wondering if it will make it or not. Just someone to talk to that has been were I am would be great, as my husband hasn't really been were I am in the way I have. Thanks, sfrog68

Hello Sfrog. I am so sorry about your losses. I know exactly how you feel. I just got my positive pregnancy test this evening and I am already SO nervous. I had a m/c in April 06' and I am terrified it will happen again. I have no idea what feelings are normal and what is not. Like the cramping. I have been feeling like my period was going to start all week. I have mild cramps and it just doesn't seem right. I have heard some women describe a "pulling sensation" as being normal, but mine are just plain cramps. I swear I am not going to sleep one wink until I am atleast at 12 weeks. I think this is just the way all of us ladies are going to be because we have had a m/c. Gone are the carefree days of the first time pregnancy. Atleast we have this wonderful website to share our feelings and fears. Good luck! =)

Hi sfrog & Cerulean; I came across your thread and just wanted to let you both know that it's completely normal to worry once you're pregnant again after miscarriage.....just goes with the territory. I am pregnant again after 2 miscarriages, and I am now 32 weeks....and the worry does ease off for most! I found the first trimester difficult too - was worried about every symptom or lack of!! But chances are you'll both be fine :) Cramping is a very normal symptom of early pregnancy....I had it on and off through my whole first trimester. The best advice I can give is to just take each day as it comes, and when you start to stress about things.....find a distraction quickly! Keep busy and stay positive - and I wish you both the best with your pregnancies :) JuJu

Thanks JuJu. Today was a horrible day for me for some reason. My stomach is still cramping (not any more intense though) and I just have this overwhelming feeling that this pregnancy is going to end the same as the last. I guess it seems like so many women have to have so many miscarriages before they can get answers to the reason why they are miscarrying. I know so many people who needed progesterone so ofcourse I am wondering if that is my situation also. I'm sure I am just over a___lyzing everything. I just don't know how I am going to get through the next few weeks. I don't go to the doctor until 2/22. ugh.

I know if it turns out I am pregnant again, I will be in the same boat you are. The best thing to do is leave it in God's hands and try your best to be happy until something actually happens, not implying it will but unless it does there is no reason to worry. I know I know it is sooo hard not to. I will probably be at my nerves end if I am pregnant again. so we just need to keep hanging on for our little ones and our lost little ones.

Thank you all for replying. I still have my days were I wonder if this is going to be the same as the last 2, but so far so good. I still have all my symptoms and they are getting worse every day. Only 6 more days until I finally get to go to the dr. I still don't know if they will do an u/s or not yet. I would think so due to me going to a high risk dr. Hope all is well and healthy.
