Because I M A Genius

I have to ask this question... At night (we're talking 8pm until I go to bed at 10pm) I get extremely I'm talking EXTREMELY thirsty. In that span of 2 hours before I go to bed, I drink between 50 and 80 ounces of water. And this is like every night. So here's my question... is it possible that after 8 hours that my FMU would still be diluted enough to read falsely BFN? I'm going to wait until Saturday (my birthday) and I'm going to cut fluids at 7p and see if I test BFP that day ::::crosses fingers::::: What do you guys think? Possible explaination for BFNs even though AF is nearly 4 weeks late?

It is possible that your fmu is too diluted for a hpt to pick up the hcg. How much do you drink during the day? Normally when you are THAT thirsty you are quite dehydrated already and I would suggest drinking heaps during the day so that hopefully don't need to drink as much at night, and your morning urine will be more concentrated. Just out of curiosity are you diabetic? I have a friend who is and that is what made her go to the doctor and find out - extreme thirst. I'm sort of in the same boat, my af is 5wks late and all hpt's are neg. I'm b___stfeeding my 9.5mth ds & even though I've had most of the symptoms of early preg, my doc won't do a blood test cause he reckons I'm just run down from bf. Anyway good luck and I hope you get your pos.

Thank you for the response! You are the second person who suggested that I get my blood sugar tested. I have never had a problem with sugar before... but my dad had type II. It's diet controlled though. I will have to get it checked! I'm hoping though that it's not that. Very scary. I plan on testing on Saturday morning (stopping fluids after about 7p) and I'm going to see if that helps anything. Thank you again!
