Hi Sarah. Yes, pregnancy tests can be absolutely wrong, but usually only when they are showing a negative result. It took two weeks after I missed my period for me to have a positive pregnancy test, and I've heard it has taken other women even longer to have a positive result. False negatives are much more common. Also, some pregnancy tests are more sensitive to the HCG levels, or can detect them at a lower concentration. There is a web site that has a lot of good info - www.peeonastick.com. Check it out. I wish you the best result. Take care.

I would go to your doctor and ask them to do a blood test to find out for definate. Good Luck!
