Dark Line W Light Amp Control Lines Pregnant

I've kept track of my BBT for 2 years. On my current cycle I had erratic wake up times & several missed temps. I decided I didn't have the info for an accurate chart. I quit taking temps & figured I'd start again with my next cycle. So I have no idea when I ovulated. Over the past 2 years my average cycle was 30 days. I had one 44 day cycle. Due to work schedules my husband & I didn't have s_x for days 7-27. So when day 30 came & went with no period I figured there was no way I could be pregnant & this cycle was just going to be a little longer than usual. When day 44 came & went with no period I began to wonder if the s_x on day 28 could have been the right time for us & I actually got pregnant. I took a test today (day 46). The control & negative lines were light but definitely really there (3 or 4 on a scale of 1-10). The positive line was a 10. Any positive line is supposed to mean pregnant. But if the test was valid why are the control & negative lines much lighter? Am I pregnant?

I dont know why the lines would be lighter but I have seen some pregnancy tests like that and they turn out to be the real deal. if you are left with some doubt go to the dollar tree and pick up a cheap test and test again in 2 days. good luck and congrads

Yes you are. In the information packet with the tests I've used it describes your senerio exactly (just the test part ; ) as being a positive pregnancy test. Congrats!!!!!

It really sounds like you are! But I agree get some dollar store pregnancy tests and try again.
