Denise-did you read they results within 10 minutes on the positive one? If you did read a couple postings down from yours called "Pregnancy..positive then negative".That might help you a little and know that others like myself are going through the same thing you are.Keep me posted and I'll do the same.Best of wishes and baby dust your way!!!

My appt went just like I thought it would, my doctor pretty much laughed at me. He said if I had the blood test then Im not preggo and thats that! He said if it does'nt come in a week than do another test. I find it funny that the only place I can get some answers is this site and not my own doctor! So I guess I'll just continue to wonder and wait.

Denise, one of the most common reasons for a faint positive line is "heterophile antibodies". These are antibodies your body produces in response to certain viral agents such as mononucleosis, influenza, etc. Also, there are some proteins which may be intermittently excreted in your urine dependent on your diet, exercise, environmental conditions, etc. These two agents usually show up as "faint positives" on hpt's. I guess my point is that hpt's aren't the best, but neither are the ones at your doc's office because they are probably about the same thing. I was just trying to give you a reason.
