Got A Short Story About Blood Tests

Good morning everyone....I thought I might share a little story with you all about blood tests and something that I had experienced.....in Oct. 1997 I found out I was pregnant, well I took a total of 1 pregnancy test and it was positive...well, 3 weeks later I started having mild cramping and got scared (I had, had a miscarriage 6 months prior), so I run to the hospital and they do a blood test...they told me I WAS NOT pregnant anymore and that I had a miscarriage...no if's and's or but's about it! So, they sent me to my OB/GYN and he did a internal exam (the same day) and said...."oh yes, you had a miscarriage". OK....I was freaking out!!!! They were going to scheduale a D/C that very same day. OK...I am a VERY strong-willed person and don't take NO for an answer sooooo I DEMANDED an ultrasound...so they finally gave in (they didn't have much of a choice) and gave me one (that very same day)....low and behold I was indeed STILL PREGNANT!!!!!!! My son will be 8 this July...I don't know, I just had to share that with you all...I think it's a scary but neat story....ok, sorry it was so long.....I'm going to post this on the board too...have a great Manic Monday everyone :O)
