Hi ladies. Usually, I'm the one helping the ladies with their questions, but now I'm the one who needs help. I got a pack of internet cheapies in the mail today that I ordered, and I took 4 of them today (I know, I'm obsessed, LOL) I went to the bathroom 2 seperate times, and took 2 tests each...I always take two, so i can compare, and since their so cheap, what have you got to lose, right? Anyways, I took 2 tests on two seperate times I went to the bathroom, and on ALL of the tests, I saw a VERY faint line...it was the same color as the control line, but VERY VERY VERY light...I really don't have too much experience with these tests, but I have used the internet OPKs and they seemed to work pretty good. But the HPTs are another story...anyone have any experience with internet cheapies? To give a little background, me and hubby are trying to conceive #2 and I haven't have a period in 6 weeks...which is pretty late for me. I have signs of pregnancy, but regular HPTs (ept, answer, etc) keep coming back neg, but internet cheapie comes back "faint pos? evap?" ladies, please share your stories. Thanks!!!!!

I have used internet cheapies and never gotten a false positive or an evap. Why don't you got out and buy a box of First Response, get one with two or three in the box, and use one in the morning with first morning pee. Make sure to use the dip method. You can control the timing much better and you don't run the risk of peeing on your hand. Hey, was the line colored? Another tid bit of info. the sensitivity of the tests is determined by the amount of colloidal gold in the strip, a lot of times the cheapies have more than the store brands, except usually for First Response. Let me know what happens. good luck!!! :o}

MJVDEC01, hi, thanks for answering:) I'm in Alaska, and they don't sell those here at any of the stores I went to. Only Answer, EPT and Clearblue. The lines were colored each time, and were within the test limits...I don't even know when I O'd, so i don't even know how late I am, I just know I haven't had AF in 6 weeks!!!! Anyway, thanks for the info:)

If the line is colored and appears with in the time limit, then it is a BFP!! Congratulations! EPT and Clearblue are both good brands to use. So happy for you :o} I am 6 weeks and 1 day today. If your last period was 6 weeks then we are due around the same time. My due date is july 26th.

You are pregnant!! That is wonderful. When was your last period so we can figure you due date?

it was october 22, but I'm not really sure when I ovulated, because my cycles tend to be a bit off sometimes:)
