OPK S Can They Be Wrong Or Is It Just Me

So, my periods are regular...like clockwork every month. I've been using the OPK's and come up Pos usually on day 9 every month. Try on day 7, 8, 9 10 and even day 11 each month, but still not pregnant. The OPK's claim to be 99% accurate, but is possible they are wrong or is it just me?? So frustrating.

You really have to know your cycle and not just rely on the positive. I know they say that you should ovulate within the next 24 to 48 hours, but I found I ovulated 72 hours later. So if you got your positive on day 9, you could very well ovulate on day 12. I used rite-aid brand and got pregnant the first time using them. I just used an ovulation calendar along with the opk. I know this may sound extreme, but after each try, I would lay with my hips elevated slightly on one pillow, don't want to be too high, for 2 hours after. That's how long it takes for the swimmers to reach the goal. Good luck and best wishes!

even if you do everything right and know exactly when you ovulate it still can takes months to get pregnant... there is only like a 15-20% chance of pregnancy every month... even if everything is perfect it can still take a while,, its normal.. dont worry... it takes time
