Symptoms But Negative Results

I was beginning the third week of my birth control pills and we used a condom but it broke! I took Plan B within 12 hours of the incident. My period came on schedule and was very heavy. Two weeks later I had a blood test at the hospital which came back negative and the three hpt's that I took were negative. I went on with life as normal. The next month my period was really light. I was nauseous, dizzy, and had va___al pain for about two weeks. I went to the doctor and had a urine test and a blood test (the serium test) and both were negative. I took two more hpt and they were negative. Then I began to have strong pains around my ovaries. I went in and had a sonogram done to look for cysts (this would be around week seven if I were pregnant). No cysts thank goodness. While they were in there I had them look for pregnancy. They said they couldn't see anything and that my uterine wall was very thin. So again I tried to go on as normal. This month my period is extremely light again. I have always had very heavy periods and am still worried. My br___ts are tender and seem swollen for the past few weeks. I just feel really off and am worried. I feel like I have lost my mind. Everyone keeps saying that I am not pregnant, and logically I should believe them (two negative blood tests, a neg urine test, numerous neg hpt, and a sonogram that showed nothing at 3 weeks) but I just cannot shake the fear that I am pregnant. I've been having a lot of x-rays and tests done lately (my doctor said to go ahead with them because she said I'm not pregnant) and am on strong medication that I am afraid would hurt a baby if I were pregnant. I don't know what to do! Has anyone had a similar experience? Does anyone have any advice? Has anyone taken Plan B and had problems? Do you think I should be worried?

Sorry. I meant to say that the sonogram was after 7 weeks, not 3.

This forum has several stories of women who didn't test positive until 4-5 months into pregnancy. However - you most likely aren't pregnant. It's a Catch-22 because, yes, you should listen to what your body is telling you, but your body lies all the time when you are stressed. So, I don't know. Some help, huh? Ask your doctor what would be the effects on a fetus of the medicine you are taking. Then decide if it is worth it for you to keep taking it. The X-Rays you have already taken probably aren't going to hurt a baby anyhow, so don't worry you've done anything wrong. I've never taken Plan B, so I don't know how it affects periods.

Thanks so much for your response Monica. You are right and I know that a lot of it could be stress (I'm in graduate school and feel like I'm losing my mind right now) but I honestly can't help but worry.
