hey there, I posted on the last board as well. For sore bones try lying on your left sides, that helps alot of things and ailments. As far as the exessive CM, I started that around 20 weeks, to the point I went i n and had a lith-something or other for amniotic fluid. it wasn;'t but felt quite "gushy". I then ened up having it all 3 pregnancies. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Col... how are your temps going...what do you think this month? We are both cd27 today. I didn't have my surge though till cd 21. I hope you get a BFP this month. I bought that book Taking Charge of your fertility" Very interesting...kinda depressing in some ways. I thimnk I do have non-ovulation issues as well. It would explain my light 2 days afs. Who knows. We will wait it out for the 13th time. AArgh. hugs!

Hopeful, don't worry about your "long" posts....I actually like reading, so they suit me fine! LM3.....see the doc and you will be able to get some of these answers you are seeking in books. You will know for sure how well you ovulated and if you ovulate at all, etc.... it will be so worth it. Keep reading, but go to the doc as well. I made a list of questions before I went in there, so I did not forget anything. It probably took me weeks to compile that list, but I sure got my money's worth when I went to that appt.

Hopeful...I like your long posts too. They are great!

Thanks lovemy3 and Tracy for the support of my verbal splurges - glad I'm not boring at least two of you!! lovemy3 - so sorry to hear you're not feeling the greatest. I think you're very wise to read up as much as you can so that you're informed and feel more in control of the situation but, as Tracy said, nothing is as good as speaking to the doctor so do write a list of questions (perhaps as a result of your reading as well as your own experiences) and ask away!!! I really think this appointment will ease your worries and whatever comes out of it (be it weight or fertility) you'll be able to rest your head at last. We're all behind you!!!!!! Time to eat! TTYL! XOXOXOXOX

Hopeful, I'm with Tracy and LM3, I very much look forward to your long posts (and I guess I'm a little guilty of that myself sometimes-lol-so I guess I better like it) but to me, the more, the better, than we get to know more about you! Thanks everyone for the rea__surances (as always! love you guys!) on cm. Since I haven't had any, I mean not even a drop, since beginning of pg, I just thought it was weird. But I feel much better now :) LM3-reading will definitely spark some questions and you'll have some time to come up with a few before your appt I'm sure. Does the book list out any reasons why someone would not ovulate? I sure hope you feel better, answers are sometimes more confusing and provide more questions, but still good to have. I don't know about you guys but for me, Fridays are awesome. I am just NOT into working these days. It's all I can do to concentrate and would just much rather be home or actually anywhere else! We're supposed to get a couple more inches of snow on Sunday, so I'll have to get all my errands done tomorrow. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Me too I love your posts; I use to think nobody can compete with me when it comes to chatting, but I guess I was wrong. I love all of your posts ladies, most of the times they put a smile on my face.

Hi everyone. Col...reading the book you told me about. After reading all about OPKs...maybe I'm not ovulating. Would explain the short scant afs and the long postives on OPKs. Feel worse after reading this kinda. Anyhow, as nervous as I am, I am going to keep my appt and see whats up. this book has made me really think I am going to wake up in ythe a.m finished menopause. Anyhow, worrying won't chgange anything. I'm cd27, maybe I am pregnant with any hope and prayer. That would be awesome and then have my appt with my dr on jan 30 already to go. Anyhow, hope you all have a good night.

COL - January 19

lovemy3, i am glad you got the book. but the conclusion you came with is not really something i would like to hear :) :) this book is good to know your body and your cycle, not t hink its the end of the world. you are ovulating, i am sure about that. the only way you can confirm if you are ovulating or not is by temping. plus, i am with the girls that you should go to the doctor appointment. i sow my RE last week, and i scheduled when i get my period to go for HSG and he wants to do some testing to chech the quality of my eggs :):) i hope they re free range quality and with lots of Omega 3 :):):):). sweet heart, take it asy on yourself, you will get your fourth very soon . ttyl

lovemy3 - January 19

Hey Col and everyone...I know I'm being a pain in the b___t with all my whining!! Sorry..hugs...LOL. thanks for always picking up the pieces. Col..that sounds really good about the HSG and egg checking. My perinatoligist is right beside, literally same floor as a really well known RE in downtown. so maybe I can just slip in there quickly...doubt it-LOL. Anyhow, 90% of me wants to cancel cuz of my weight, hes gonna read me the riot act and just flip since I haven't lost any but that will pa__s and he'll do what needs to be done. I'm kinda afraid to know, as I'm living in denial and all-LOL. i guess its better to know. See if I was reading my own post I'd think I was a nut!! LOLO. hugs and goodnight.

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all well today. Had a pretty good sleep, finished my whole book though. Diagnosed myself......late ovulater cd 20....poor equality. Long surges.....follies are formed but egg can't opush out because my estrugen level doesn't reach its threshold of breaking the egg out....light scant period are from the anovulatory cycle. remember when I used that ClearBlueEasy fertl. monitor last year and it never reached "Peak" only hit "high". I thought it was the machine...but I bet there was truth to it. Now today cd28 and I have such v____al dryness it hurts to wipe. I think after conception before your BFP it should be quite wet shouldn't it? I can't remember. Anybody remember the cm just prior to there BFP showing up? Anyhow, thats about it. the book also says Clomid can kick start that issue and make you O earlier. I don't want to risk that though and have multiples. Also, we have ovarian cancer in my family that has happend in their 40's and some studies say that the jury is still out on effects of Clomid I read. I guess I will accept nature if this theory of mine proves to be true. I have decided to keep my appt and am going to do all the bloodwork. So thats the scoop here. how are you all?

Hello all! Not much to report here except to say that I'm feeling MUCH more energetic today which is great. Also Bean is much more energetic too so I'm wondering if there's a correlation? Anyway, all is good but I do have to work this evening so it's a good job that I'm feeling lively enough. lovemy3- I'm so glad that you're still going to keep your appointment. Try not to make too many a__sumptions before you hear back from the doctors though as I'm sure it will just drive you crazy. Tracy - sorry to hear that your back is at you but it's great that you slept better last night. (Me too!) So I'd better go and get ready for work (Boo hoo!) I'm just hoping that I'll only have to be on standby most of the time and not really have to do much running around coz my back doesn't hold out very long nowadays. Hope you're all having a lovely weekend. TTYL! XOXOXOX

Val - January 20

HOPEFUL, I love your posts as well... don't stop! LM3, I don't remember cm before getting my bfp. I think it's a good idea to get the testing done. I was having long cycles when I was trying to get pg... ovulating anywhere from cd 23 to cd30 or so. I went on clomid for 3 months and got my ovulation down to cd19. But I think my real problem was hormonal/uterine lining-related - as soon as I went on progesterone I got pg. Hopefully a responsible Dr wouldn't keep you on any fertility drug very long - my doctor showed me a graph which showed that after 3 months on clomid, your chances don't really go up any. BM5 - hope you are enjoying your weekend. I have to work today but can't complain since I've had 4 days off this week! Tonight we're going to see a band play at a local restaurant - should be fun. TRACY, sorry about your back...mine started hurting last week for the first time since being pg and I was worried it was going to stay painful. Luckily it has gotten better. I've never tried that maternity belt, but I hope it helps. Have you tried swimming or prenatal yoga? I know that being almost weightless in a pool feels pretty darn good these days. Well, I was worried yesterday because it seemed like the baby wasn't moving much, but then last night he got really active and I was able to feel movement from the outside for the first time. DH thought he might have felt something also, but wasn't sure. I really need to stop worrying but it's so hard. I think I get anxious right before ultrasounds (my level 2 is on Monday) because I worry I'll go in and find out something is wrong. I'm sure you all know that worry... Anyway, I'd better jump in the shower or I'll be late for work. Hugs to all!

Hopeful and excited - January 20

Oh......... and I found out two things yesterday.............another bag of baby clothes is coming my way - GREAT NEWS! - but the sad news is that the woman who's giving me the stuff has finally decided on a name for her baby boy and it's one of the names me and DH had liked from the start so I think we've got to rule it out now. What a shame - but I think it's meant to be so I've been on the search for more names today and I think I found an alternative. That's all - I'm being called now to go to work so I'd better get snappy! TTY tomorrow!

lovemy3 - January 20

What are the names you are thinking of hopeful? I named my middle dd the same name as my best friends daughter cuz I really liked it and they were flattered. I wouldn't let it bug you. ttyl Hugs!

Tracy88 - January 21

Val, to answer your question, I haven't tried anything like swimming or yoga. I wouldn't mind a good swim in tepid water. My in-laws have a pool, I should take advantage of it. Prenatal Yoga sounds good too, but this is definitely a disc problem, so I'm going to see the doc and ask about going to therapy first. I want to be sure that I am doing the right moves for the disc and the baby. I'm not sure how I have injured myself so badly when it comes to my back, but I have always been very athletic and worked very hard waiting tables and then in TV, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Plus, aparently my uncle and my sister have problems, so maybe it runs in the family???? Did you finish your paintings yet? I think instead of doing my artwork on canvas, my sister is going to do drawings for me instead that I can frame easily. She just had surgery on her back so she needs to do stuff that she can do in bed or on the couch. I am going to stay with her for a few days to take care of her, the first weekend in February when her husband has a trip. Well, DH said we can go buy the baby something today!!! I told him to give me a budget because otherwise I will run him into the poorhouse!!! I am going to start getting dressed and see if I can't do something with my scary morning hair!

Val - January 21

T - It's definitely good to get your doctor's input, especially before doing yoga. But I'll bet even just floating in a pool will make you feel a little better. I found a cute black swimsuit on sale over the holidays at Motherhood. That sort of helped inspire me to get into the pool. Unfortunately I've only been able to attend one water aerobics cla__s so far due to the MLK holiday and our crazy weather last week, but I can't wait to get back in the water on Tuesday or Wednesday. The baby was really active again last night - we went to see a band play, and during one of the last songs, he was kicking up a storm! It was really funny. Hopefully he'll be a music lover like his mama and papa! Tracy- that's nice that your sister is going to do some drawings for you. I hope she has a good recovery. Well, I'm going to go shower and work on my Lorax paintings... I think I can finish them today!
