I still need to take naps and have hardly any energy. Im also still a bit nauseous...i can eat but it takes me awhile to decide what sounds okay. And I still dont want meat. I think I remember being tired until i got to 5mos w/DS4. so I guess another month would be normal for me. Anyone else still exhausted!

Hey Suze, me too! I am shattered all the time and if I don't have a sleep during the day then I am usually in bed around 9pm, but if I manage to catch 40 winks then I am up til 10.30pm. Tonight being the exception as it was my birthday and we have been out for a nice meal with our friends. DS4 is staying round my mums for the night so will make good use of that lay in, by mmmm let me guess........catching another 40 winks! lol! It also takes me along time to decide what to eat and the thought of fruit & veg is still making me ill. Often I settle for toast as I am into plain things at the moment. So have they changed your dates when you went for your scan aswell? I was orginally due 24th July and they moved my date forward when I went for my u/s on Friday to 20th July - so I am now 13w 1d. Are you still due 25th July? What would that make you now 12w 3d? My memory is like a sieve! sorry.....I'm just glad that now I can finally join in over here and as I am 13 weeks now, am officially in my second trimester. My next scan is booked for the 20th March, when I am 22 weeks. We will find out the s_x then and we can't wait. Hoping for a girl, but I don't mind either way. What names have you thought of?

hey marie, Im glad im not the only one! Happy Birthday...how nice that your mom is taking care of your DS4! Enjoy the downtime. My due date was moved after my last u/s. Now 25jul inst of 20Jul. So that puts me at 12wks 5 days or so. But I still believe Im 13+ weeks...they mentioned that they had a difficult measure b/c my uterus was tipped a bit...but then adjusted the due date anyway. It really doesnt matter b/c I will doing a scheduled c-section--God willing. Im starting to really feel my abdomen changing...hard at the bottom... Have a great bday!

My stomach from the belly b___ton below is really popping out, which I am quite suprised about as I am on the larger side anyway and didn't start showing with DS4 til about 6mths or so. It's really hard aswell and also above my belly b___ton on either side around my ribs you can feel two very thick muscles which pull all the time, giving me the illusion that I have eaten myself stupid at one of those eat all you can restaurants and then rolling out the place!!!! LOL! It's so weird how it's so different this time around and how aware I am of every little twinge. So have you thought about any names?

suze42 - January 14

I like names that are traditional...but not totally overused. Im not one for the trendier names. I think Im gonna wait til I know the s_x..that way I can narrow it down to either one. I do know if its a girl the middle name will be Jeanne, which is mine, and my moms first name. Girls: Natalie, Samantha, Mary, Margaret Boys: Joseph, Lucas, But im still pretty stumped. WHat are your faves?

If Jamie (DS4) was going to be a girl then it would have been Holly as we conceived christmas and ever since have been stuck on the name. If it's a boy then Alfie and again it's been that throughout the whole 4 years ttc. You wait I will probably find out the s_x and then change my mind!! I hope not as I really like those names. So when is your next u/s? Mine is when I am 22 weeks as I want the tech to be more sure of the s_x. It's on the 20th March

suze42 - January 14

Those are very cute names..My next u/s is on Feb 21st. I think I will be 18wks. Thats how far I was when I found out DS4 was a boy. our boys have very similar names too, Jeremy and Jaime! I think I really want a girl...I keep trying to not think about it..b/c I dont want to be partial to one or the other. But my brain keeps going back to girl names and girl colors. I do feel like a boy is more likely...and i do love my boy, that for sure.

Ah that's nice that you only have to wait another 5 or 6 weeks. I can't wait! I was 21 weeks when I found out with DS. Just want to wait longer this time to make sure everythings more visible as my friend had her scan at 19 weeks and was told she was having a girl (already has 3 boys) and low and behold out popped her fourth boy! Understandably she was abit upset, but it just goes to show that you can never bee 100%! I'm lucky that I am also having growth scans at 28 and 34 weeks so I will get the tech to double check each time. I read on another thread that whatever the s_x of the baby you dream is what you will have and last night I had a dream that I had a little boy with a full mop of brown hair and it was a home birth. Im 50/50 wether or not to try a home birth this time round - I love the idea of relaxing at home and Jamie not having to be away from me for too long and my mum can take him away if I feel it's getting too bad for him. I'm trying to get him ready for it all just incase and he watches all the birth programmes with me and the screaming doesn't seem to faze him at all, but then again it's not his mummy that's in the pain! LOL! I would dearly love a girl and although I have a feeling this one might be a girl I think that's because I want one so much. Don't get me wrong I adore Jamie, but a girl would be the icing on the cake!

I know what you mean...I adore my boy. He is my boyfriend, my buddy. But it would kinda cool to be a mom to a girl...see ihow it differs. No home birth for me! It gonna be a scheduled c-section. My first was 10days late, induced and then after 24 hrs a c-section. Not going thru that again! Jeremy watches Baby Story with me...its hilarious. He was pooping one day and said " mommy im pushing out a baby". I died laughing. I think its good they see it as natural...no big deal. Well were off to go play w/his cousins...no one has school today and its dreary dreary out. Im actually showered and ready to go today. How do you feel today?

suze42 - January 15

Regarding the story about your friend ...I am thinking even if they tell me its a girl, Im gonna be kinda prepared for both. With Jeremy it was for sure...we saw his p___s clear as day! but w/a girl its what you DONT see.

Marie6549 - January 15

I know what you mean, I saw Jamie's bits before the tech did clear as day! On the other hand though when you have seen the boy parts so clear before and you don't have any signs of them being there when they tell you it's a girl, then you would think it was right. They were 150% sure with Jamie and so was I. Not sure what time it is over there, but the day is slowly drawing to a close, well it's 4.30pm and nearly dinner time. I have felt great for the past few weeks, just tired and having to have naps during the day....otherwise i'm in bed by 9!!!!! LOL. Luckily DH is working from home today and is setting up our computer as we speak, I usually have to wait til he is around (usually at the weekends) to use the laptop and so don't get on here much. At least now I can chat ALL DAY LONG! ha ha ha. Anyway enjoy the rest of your day and take care xx

marie, I forgot--are you in UK?

Marie6549 - January 16

Yeah im in the UK. It's currently 11am here, guess it's about 6am there so I won't expect any replies some time soon...lol!

suze42 - January 16

Im awake! Gotta run the little one to preschool. Is Jaime in preschool? I just started him this fall...first 2 days, now 3 days a week.(half days) He loves it, and I get some time alone! Today Im going grocery shopping--exciting--and then to a clothing store thats going out of business..major sales. I prob wont get anything for this body, but they have kid clothing too. Good Stuff. Where in UK are you? Im in St. Louis, Missouri.

I'm about half an hour away from London in the county of Hertfordshire. Schooling is very different over here. Jamie started pre-school when he was 2 and then just before his 4th birthday he started nursery. He goes upto reception cla__s in September and that will be full time school hours - well 8:50-3:15. The baby has timed itself perfectly as is should be during the summer 6 week holidays that it makes it's debut and I will have DH around for 2 weeks paternity and then another few weeks before I have to get both kids ready and out of the house for Jamie to start school at 8:50am!! It's hard enough getting one out of bed and even then he dresses himself and showers himself. I just provide the breakfast...lol! Still listen to the baby heartbeat every night before I go to bed as I just don't feel pregnant. I have seen the proof on u/s, but thought that seen as though every pregnancy is different I would really suffer with this one as I sailed through the last one too. You wait I bet I have well and truly jinxed myself and will come down with every pregnancy related ailment going! 13w 4d today. Can't wait for July to be here!!

suze42 - January 16

Our timing for baby #2 is so similar!! I like it as well, I will have baby for a month before I have to figure out how to pack them both up to take Jeremy to preschool. Im going to have to get more organized--as Jeremy and I are usually a bit frantic in the mornings. He would be going to kindergarten this fall except his birthday fell late (sept18) so he misses the cut-off. So its another year of pre-school, 3 days a week. I am 13wks 6 days today! YAY. I think im feeling a bit better...still fatigued. I also never think Im pg...i have the symptoms but I still find it hard to believe that there will really be a baby in 6mos! And i still think that something bad coul d happen, tho as time pa__ses I get more positive. Do you go into London much? I was there once, years ago. I love it. Im sure youve never been to Missouri...LOL...its not a bad place, just not a tourist mecca! Well, off to have a healthy lunch, as I had a horrible breakfast--drive thru Burger King! Blech...i dont know what made me do it!. So what time to pick up Jaime? I pick my little guy up at 130pm. Then we hang out a few hours, make dinner, Daddy comes home, he hangs out w/Daddy and bedtime at 8pm.

suze42 - January 16

oh and our husbands dont get paternity leave here. My Dh will prob take one week vacation...and I may have my mother come up from Florida for a week, like she did when I had Jeremy. She was a huge help.
