Morning! How's everyone today! Oh yeah... Misty... the reason why I see the whole thread t_tle on my monitor is, I have a dual monitor system on my work computer... one screen is 21 inches, the other 15... so I have a LOT of screen space... :)

Hey D, wow, I can't believe no one else is here. yet. I need to go soon to take the paper work back to the realty lady. :-) I'm so happy that worked out. Now we are like half way there. Now we just have to get all the info that the mortgage guy needs and have the house appraise at value. Only like 20 days left until closing if everything works out right. But the main part I was worried about is already over. :-) And I go for my doctors appointment tomorrow. :-) Things are going pretty good. I need to start working more though, I'm going to tell my boss that when I go in on Saturday, so I might be here less often pretty soon. :-( Oh well, I need the money.

Hey ladies. Had my u/s yesterday! Still a boy and a girl, Brianna and Brennan. I say facial features! I saw the little boys ear and nose and lips and his lips look like his daddies! I even say him swallowing!!!!!!!! It was so incredible. The little girl is developing a little slower than the boy she is about 1 centimeter smaller and wasnt cooperating. Her hands were balled into fists and up by her face so we couldnt really see what she looked like. She is the hyper one though and was kickin and stompin around but decided to change position. They were both head down last time and she decided to be stubborn and turn the other direction. So she is feet first and he is head first and they are back to back. It was so amazing though! They are about the length from the tip of your middle finger to the top of the wrist. Awesome eh? I almost cried!

Good Morning ladies and I have a Q for D. I got a baby cat yesterday for my daughters B-day....the only problem is that I think it was weaned from its mommy too soon.....I checked out a website but it did'nt give me what I was looking for. I took some pics of her and will post them on piczo for you to view. Can you tell me how old she is for that I can care for her. Her eyes are open and blue her ears are open but she wobbles alot when she walks. She has been whining a lot so I feel that I'm not giving her something that she needs! Can you help?

D - June 2

I'll tell you what I can.... I'm watching for the pictures! If its eyes are open, that is good.... its is a whole lot easier to take care of them then! I had a 3 day old kitten for a few days... about drove me crazy. I had to take it to work with me, and when it got hungry, it mewed so loud, you could hear it all the way down the hall in x-ray.... and we're not supposed to have pets at work! But... it was a kitten from one of the cats who live behind the hospital - probably blind too. I had to feed it every 1-2 hours... Thank goodness I found someone to take it.

Shes been crying alot right now but stopped since I made her urinate. I have to use the Qtip and warm water to go.....just like the mommy cat. I got her yesterday at 5:30 on my way home ttttttt the kitty made the ttt's and that huge space walking around my desk right now. :o) this lil girl has stole my heart.....I was about to say that she hasnt pooed yet is this normal? I'll try to put those pics up right now give my 30 minutes K?

Hey Steph, do they have baby kitten formula in any stores around you that you can give to the kitten when it is hungry? I used to work in an aviary and any time the baby birds would cry we hand fed them with a bird formula, talk about a pain in the a__s. It was the majority of my job to hand feed these baby birds. i know a kitten would be different, but I don't think it would be too terribly different. You just have to feed it when it is hungry....the right kind of food. :-) I don't have any idea about the pooing thing though, we never had any issues with that when it came to the birds. Oh yeah...I'm eating chinese right now. Honey chicken an egg roll and pork fried rice. It is my healthy meal for the day. :-)

The pic is buried under some others... but when I refreshed the screen, I got a really quick look... I'm thinking just over 3 weeks... Misty is right... you need formula. But not the stuff the grocery store calls "cat milk". That doesn't have the nutritional content a baby that size needs. Sometimes walmart carries "Just born" which is a powder formula - other places like a feed store have something similar sometimes - just NO cows milk. If you can't find any formula, use goat milk until you can - I've found that in the grocery store. If you want me to, I can try to find my "rescue milk" recipe the vet gave us. I've got it around the house somewhere. One of those concoctions that has egg etc in it. It might be easier to find on the net! You can either eyedropper feed, or get a little bottle. I think the ones with a longer nipple work better... but we're talking a nipple that is 1/8 inch wide and maybe 1/2 inch long. Feed at least every few hours - and I think I'd try to wean it to some kitten food within a couple weeks. I know some may say its too early, but I've had them on soft food at 4 weeks - and still offer milk frequently - it makes me feel better, like I'm not starving it or anything. You are right on with the q-tip (fun, isn't it??? :) ... keep that up. It could be too stressed to poo yet - or may not need to much, since I doubt its had much solid food. I'd give it another day. Keep it warm too... Anyways... I don't know if that is the help you needed, sounds like you are on the right track anyway. Good luck! I love those little critters... but I just can't have ANY more! :-)

yeah thank goodness we don't have to do that with the puppy we are getting. By the time we have this house it should be weened by then. The mother had sooo many puppies. she had something like 14 of them!!!! Two of them have died because they weren't getting enough milk I guess, and the owners aren't feeding them any formula to suplement it. They just figure if they are going to survive they will survive. I couldn't do that myself, but oh well. We should be getting this puppy in about a month probably. I'm actually looking forward to it now. I want to train it like crazy and hopefully if it is a smart little thing and I do a good job it should be totally potty trained and have learned basic comands by the time the baby is born. I'm getting really excited about this. I fidure Mike works nights, So until about 4 I will be in charge of everything to do with the baby. But Mike never goes to bed as soon as he gets home, he stays up till like 8 or 9 at least. So he will take care of the baby then while I get some uninterupted sleep. Ahhh, uninterupted sleep sounds good. It should be a bit easier this time around though, I haven't slept straight through the night for so long I don't even remember what it feels like. So getting up for the baby shouldn't be too terribly difficult. :-) I'm feeling so optimistic today. :-)

Ehh, I tried to go look at the cute little kitty pictures, but even refreshing the screen didn't work for me. It actually seemed to show up for a shorter amount of time the more I did it. All I can tell is that it is a tiny furball. :-)

I'm researching Mennonite birthing techniques. My doc mentioned to us that her Mennonite patients have the easiest childbirths. I want to know what they do!
