Ladies, I am currently 17 weeks pregnant. Around my 13th or so week I began to feel what I believe to be the baby. It was a fluttering that would happen just about 2-3 times a week. However, this morning I began thinking and I realized that I haven't felt ANYTHING in about 2 weeks. I am so worried!!!! Does the fluttering sensation just go away????? Anyone?????

AT 17 weeks you probably wont feel the fluttering all the time. The baby is still small and sometimes even when it is moving alot it will be in a position where you wont feel it. I have heard that you dont feel all the baby's movement until about 25 weeks. Hope this helps ease your mind.

um, I would really ask your doctor, my son started moving at 18 weeks and now I am 20 and he has not stopped, now he kicks even harder, I have never gone a day without feeling him.

Maybe what you thought was fluttering was not really that. I did not feel anything till my 20th week and I would not even describe it as fluttering (I think some women just skip the fluttering phase). So, I would not worry. When the baby really starts to move you will know it. If what you did feel WAS fluttering, well, it is not uncommon that you arent really feeling it anymore. The baby is probably just facing another position, or the placenta is now blocking the feeling....
