Haha, do you like my job related t_tle. No need to worry about a boss seeing that, huh? :-) j/k I don't think anybody's boss can see specific questions with all the other ones on the screen or I wouldn't have written it. But yeah, I figure it is just about how all of us feel right now. i know it is how I feel anyways. So, I'm up early, anybody else here yet? I am about to go eat breakfast though so I won't be here long. Just wanted the pleasure of starting the new thread today. :-)

morning misty...i have the day off work today..yay!!! i'm to get my hair done and relax! i'm 28+ wks now and have been having shooting pains for the past few days..feels like the baby is really low, and getting period like pains, and back ache, is this normal does anyone know??

Misty - June 1

Well I don't remember getting period like pains toward the end last time. Although I don't get period like pains before I have a period either. I do however remember the baby seeming like it was low where it felt like my stomach wanted to pull downwards....I plan on getting a maternity support this time. And as far as the backach...yes yes and more yes, it is totally normal to have backache. Then about the shooting pains...if you mean down there then yes that is normal too, I don't know why it happens, but it does. Perhaps Robyn would know why if she gets a chance to come on today. She has that Jenny McCarthy book. Getting my hair done would be nice, I can't afford it right now though, besides I just had it done a few weeks ago. :-) What I would really love is to be able to afford a trip to the spa. That would be so heavenly. Right now I am about to get ready to go to the mall with my mom though. Neither of us have money, and I don't normally window shop, but how can I turn down going out with my mom? So I'm off to get ready, you girls have a good day today. Hey Robyn, just turn your computer where she can't see it....I'm sure she won't mind. :-) Rb, I hope you had fun last night and looked fabulous...and D I hope your office is all done and looking just as fabulous. :-) Talk to you all later.

where is everyone!!!!

D - June 1

Eh... the problem is, its not my office they're painting. Its the floor next door. Makes me sick. No, they are not done, they have to finish it this afternoon... so I may disappear again. By the way... on my computer in the task bar, my boss can DEFINATELY see the thread t_tle. In fact, it really stands out... so across the top of my screen right now, it says **Screw Work** I really hope he doesn't come by today! :-)

Oh yeah. My blood pressure is going up. I'm getting really scared I'm developing gestational diabetes. Yuk. That means my doc may put me on bed rest... YUK... Can you imagine 4 months laying on your left side? I'm really hoping she'll resort to drugs first. But my BP is getting so high, I can see it pulsing in my abdomen.

good morning girls - Screw Work is exactly what I feel like today. I almost stayed home but last minute jumped out of bed to make it here! jj - the shooting pains are normal. I had them a few weeks ago and they stopped and started up again yesterday. It's a wierd getting shooting pains down there. I'm not exactly sure why we got them. D, I hope your office building in well ventelated - that paint can make you real dizzy too. Hope they're done soon! I think I'm coming down with a cold or flue and there is nothing to take to prevent it... :-(

D - June 1

I've been worried about the toxins in the fumes. This is some pretty hefty paint. It has to be mixed, you know, part A and part B... like those really strong epoxy glues. Anyways, I left yesterday afternoon because of it, and I may have to leave this afternoon too.

tara - June 1

yes, i would definately leave just to be safe...that stuff is still strong even a day after it dries. Your work can not expect you to stay around with that stuff in the air.

Stephanie - June 1

I'd like to know what's in the air!!! Will my a__st. show for work today?? Shes suppose to be here in 10 minutes.......We will see......Mwhahahhahahahahah........ It's over cast here in Cali and a huge mudslide in Laguna Beach I believe......A beautiful beach that is!!! Dude the homes go for way over a million buckaroos over there and thats just the price of an "average home!"

Hey D I just skimmed (is that the word?) over some of the posts and noticed that toxic fumes were in the air! I was going to ask if you have a window but considering you already thought of that (I know your smart ;o)) I would recommend you taking the day off for sure! You don't sound at your best right now and definantly should let the room air out before going back.....

Stephanie - June 1

If you cannot leave and have too much work maybe you can trade an office for the week or work outside the office....Can you take the work home?

D - June 1

Yes, I have a window. An itty bitty little window. But at least I have one! They weren't going to let us have one.... but we bugged them to death! Unfortunately, its not doing the trick. Fortunately, they put off painting the rest of the floor until after lunch.... but now its after lunch... so I'm just trying to finish off as much as possible before I have to go.
