I am 19 weeks pregnant and have been on antidepressants for 4 years. I am weaning myself off them now and have reduced my intake to just 10mg every 3 days. This is to avoid the withdrawl symptoms. I am being monitored closely by the hospital and my Doctor, and have been rea__sured by both that the tablets do not affect the development of the fetus what so ever. The tablets can get pa__sed through b___st milk though (according to a website I checked on), so if you are to continue with your treatment it might be best to bottle feed. I was told by a consultant at the hospital that it is better for both myself and the baby if I continue with my course and wean myself off gradually, rather than to go cold turkey as this could prove dangerous for me and consequently my baby. So do not be scared, but talk to your doctor. All antidepressants are different, so it's really safest to find out from your doctor what is best for you. Hope this helps x

I've been on Wellbutrin my entire pregnancy. My doc said they are perfectly save to mom and baby.
