13 1/2 weeks is nothing. I started wearing maternity pants at 10 weeks (this is my first baby). I am now almost 17 weeks. I look like Katie Holmes does on the new issue of US weekly. Although the funny thing is that I have only gained 6 pounds. The doctor measured me yesterday.

I'll be 14 wks. Friday and I'm showing already, have been for about 2 weeks, I really don't like it because I still haven't gotten a positive result on a hpt, but I'm pretty sure I am pregnant, and I haven't gone to see a doctor yet.

I haven't because I'm only 17 right now, I won't turn 18 till mid April, right before I'd be due, and I'm scared to tell my parents that I think I am pregnant

T - are you taking prenatal vitamins? You can buy them over the counter. It's time to tell your parents - you're only going to get bigger fast! Good luck!

I already have some prenatal vitamins, I'm planning on talking to my parents by the end of the week, with my fiance, but I'm scared, I wish I knew how they would react.

T-I have always kind of been a dissapointment to my parents, they've never approved of anything that I've done, and I knew getting knocked up was definetely going to be on the top of that list. I moved out when I was 15, been living with my boyfriend since I was 16 and now I'm 26 weeks preggo with our baby, I was the first in my family to get preggo and make them grandparents, I'm the youngest of 7 and the only one that isn't married...so when I found out I was pregnant I phoned my stepmom who I used to think was evil and all my friends nicknamed "mean-Jean" and told her I had some news, but that I wanted to talk to her in person, I chickened out of telling them and made up that the good news was that I got a raise....so she came over to my apartment one day, cornered me and told me she knew what this news was and just to tell her, I cringed thinking her head was going to explode and I was going to get a huge lecture on responsibilities nad being too young and I was secretly just hoping they wouldn't try and get me to have an abortion because me and my boyfriend knew we would never do that. She was HAPPY! She said that these things happen and life happens and asked me if I had a pregnancy book and if I was taking vitamins and if I was eating right or if I was throwing up. She was really there for me and it amazed me, she's never been like that before, she really just wanted to help, she even told my dad for me, apparently he wasn't happy but he wasn't upset. This was a couple of days before Fathers Day so I had to phone him on fathers day and I was so worried about that talk he was going to give me, but he didn't, he wasn't what you would call supportive, but he wasn't upset and he didn't disown me! Now, I'm 14 weeks away from giving them their first grandbaby and he's talked about it a little with me, I think the idea that his baby girl was having a baby was what upset him the most, but I know that once he sees his first grandchild his heart will melt and he will accept everything. Meanwhile my stepmom has just recently bought us a crib and is really excited, she even helped me find a good obgyn, it's wonderful having her support me. Anyways, this was my story, I hope that it gives you a little courage and you never know, even if their shocked and unhappy at first, babies will always make them melt....let me know how things workout for you :) And take your vitamins their really important!

Beth, thanks that makes me feel a little better, I know I'll manage somehow, I already looked and if I want to drop out of school at the semester and enroll in a school through Reno, (I live in Nevada) I'll only have to take 3 cla__ses to graduate my GPA is currently like a 3.8, so I've always been a good student, I know I would be able to handle it, it would just be hard, but it will be duable. I'm just really nervous about telling them but hopefully I'll tell then before the end of the month, I'll keep you posted though.
