Anyone Tried Or Heard Of The Shared Care Program In Stony Pl

Has anyone gone through the ‘shared care’ program in Stony Plain Alberta (midwives and drs working together)? I’m trying to decide if this is for us or not…. I would appreciate any opinions (either from your own experience or from someone you know)…Thanks!

I live in Edmonton, and I have looked into having a midwife, and they're not licensed to deliver babies in alberta, although they are pretty much every where else, except one other province. So this shared care is prolly just a way to have a midwife, but also have a licensed doctor present for the delivery. I'm lucky one of my best friends just had a baby, so she's going to come to the hospital and coach me. Good luck with everything!
