I have only felt the baby kick once.... I am now 19 weeks.I went to my ultrasound this week and it is a BOY . They also said my placenta is low that is why I haven't felt the baby kick. this sucks.. will I feel him again?? has this happened to anyone?? is it serious??

I don't have the same placenta issue, but I've been concerned about not feeling my son move as well. (I'll be 19 weeks tomorrow.) I spoke to my sister, who has 5 kids. She said she's pretty sure I'm feeling him I'm just not giving the feeling credit for being him. Maybe it's the same for you? I feel something, however, since I've never been pregnant before I always doubt it's the baby.

i just had my ultrasound tonight...i am 18w5d...we found out that its a boy. he looks very healthy (spine, head, etc). they said my placenta is in the front so it may be longer before i can feel any movement...i havent felt any yet, even though he seems to be moving around like crazy! seems that you are quite normal! good luck!

Wow looks like we are all having boys!!! Congrats everyone! My placenta was low lying and is still in front of the baby so I don't feel him that much either. I feel movement but no strong kicks. Don't worry!

I also have my placenta in the front and I am currently 24 weeks and paranoid becasue I feel like I havent been feeling him move as much lately. I know my doctor said I may not feel him as much or as strong of movement due to the location of the placenta but I am still paranoid, and suggestions?
