have been starting to feel baby movement and kicks here and there however not constantly like he take some bigggggggggg naps. Why does he do that and get me so worried. I got a doppler and his heart beat is 150-156 for 22 weeks is that ok?. Now next thing is my cerclage. My baby kicks really low towards my pelvic bone or bladder sometimes how will that effect my cerclage

Hey. You shoukd worry about feeling constant kicks until 28 weeks. That's the week that most doctors reccommend that women keep track with the kick chart. I don't think your baby kicking low will efect your cerclage but you should ask your doctor just in case. You can prevent your lo from kicking right there so its most likely no big deal. Did you get a single or double st_tch? They should be checking your cerclage tightness weekly and if it gets weak they can put a second one in if they catch it early enough.

i belive i have 2 stictes put .My regular Ob has put it however my perinatologist looked at the cerclage and said it was put really well high and good way. How can you stop him from kicking low? iam curious.

Hi goldfish. I actually tried to ask you in another post, but I guess you didn't see it. What's a cerclage? It sounds kind of painful. Are you still on bedrest? I hope that doesn't last too much longer for you! Anyway, I just thought I'd ask since I've been following some of your posts. I hope the baby's kicks get more regular for you, but it sounds like you're doing everything you're supposed to be doing at this point, and try to remember that the chances of something going wrong after the first trimester are almost nil (at least I keep telling myself that).

cerclage is a medical way of keeping ur cervix from opening . I had that happen with me last time. Does anyone here use doppler and whats the heartbeat you guys have at 21 weeks?. Man am I stressing myself too much.

Oh, ok. thanks for letting me know! I hope everything goes well for you, and good luck with the baby and the masters! I'm thinking of getting a doppler too, but no clue as to what the heart rate at 22 weeks! I'm still overobsessing about week 15! I hope someone has an answer for you!

OOPPPSSSS I wrote that post half asleep! I meant to say that you SHOULDN'T be too concerned about your lo's movement until 28 weeks, AND there is NO to stop your baby from kicking so low. Sorry for the typos. My peri said that high cerclages are the best, sounds like your doc did a good job. But yah, little kicks won't make you dilate, don't worry. Yes Goldfish I think you are over stressing yourself. The baby's hb is normal, don't worry! 140-180 is normal I think. How far along were you when you delivered with your last pregnancy? Your baby ok? Are you concerned about pre term labor OR ONLY IC? I'm worried about both so my peri is giving me treatment to prevent both. I delivered at 24 weeks and he thinks that kinda late for IC. My peri says IC is more of 18-22 week deliver, and maybe my labor made me dilate especially since when I went to the ER they stopped my active labor SEVEN days in a row before I delivered. . . . He's not sure because he wasn't my doc. Anyway, don't stress too much. If your last pregnancy ended in loss then this book I have called "Pregnancy after a loss" is great, its helped me a lot o far. I will receive my doppler on the 17th I'm so excited!!! I don't want to over use it and cause more anxiety though. Oh QUESTION why are you on bedrest? Did you have a preventative cerclage or an emergency one?
