I've read alot that babies usually respond to sounds...especially loud ones...But my baby doesn't seem to move whn it hears loud sounds...2 days back i'd been to an amusement park and attended a musical fountain show...and the sound effects were soo loud..but my baby didn't seem to move at all at that time..but otherwise i feel it move often. I'm really worried about this..i'll b turning 22 wks tmorrow.

Yeah. I wonder about that too sometimes, but as the baby gets bigger, you'll feel the movements possibly more when they jump. I'm also 22 weeks tomorrow, and I have three kids who make heaps of noise, and my baby hasn't jumped either. I don't think there's uch you can do about the 'lack' of jumping on baby's part, but lots of movements are good. Don't forget, sounds would be muffled in the womb too, so maybe he hears them, but not much or enough to be scared of them.

The baby's ears and hearing are not fully developed until 24 weeks. I wouldn't worry about this yet.
