Blockage In Baby S Bowel

I am 20 weeks PG with first baby. I was sent to a Perinatal doctor because of a failed quad screen. We went yesterday and he did not show that the baby had any markers of down symdrome but did show a small blockage in her bowel. He is going to see me back in a month to see if it is still there. Has anyone ever had or heard of this before. I tried looking it up on the internet but it only made me feel worse about it, he did not seem to concerned and said 2 years ago they would have not even seen something so small. Just looking for some guidance if you have any on this subject.

Hmm- I have never heard of this but I wouldn't worry too much. Sometime too muh info is worse. I am not sure how there can be a blockage in the babies intestine since there isn't anything in the intestine yet- unless its like a twisted part. The babies body still has lots of time to grow and straighten things out on its own

When I was born I had Pyloric Stenosis which is a blockage or closing of the bowel. Mine was a tumor that closed it. I'm not sure if it occured while I was in still in womb but it was there within a week of being born because I had to have surgery to open it and still have the scars. Maybe this helps?? Good luck.

He said she could have swallowed to much aminotic fluid and it could be pooling it that one spot of her bowel. I am trying to not worry about it, but my doctors are so detailed they make you worry sometimes. Thanks for your responses.
