has anyone ever had to have a 4 d ultrasound because the test came back possibile for diease in baby at 17 weeks?

Is it the AFP or triple screen test? There was a post here before about that one, and seems it's not a reliable test. Of the women who go on to have further testing (including an amniocentesis, which is risky), only 10% actually have something wrong with their babies. Anyway, an ultrasound tends to be a more accurate way of observing if there's anything wrong.

thank you i have heard it is nothing to worry about this test is not very accurate i am going for the ultrasound on thursday

I've been told that you have like a 50% chance the test will come back abnormal, but when they recheck it, everything is fine. I wouldn't stress over it, as it doesn't seem to be very accurate.
