Can I Stop Worrying So Much Now

I had an u/s at 10 weeks, saw the baby, everything looked great...including the hb. At my last dr. appt., 3 weeks later, (at 13 weeks) I had a dr. appt. & heard the hb with the dopplar. Can I assume that everything is ok? I still don't feel any differently than I did before I got pg., including gaining weight. What do you think?

There is always a risk of miscarriage throughout a pregnancy, though after a certain number of weeks (I'm not sure how many), they call it "preterm labor". Hearing the heartbeat is a good sign. I had a similar experience at 13 weeks and I asked my doctor. She said that I had a 3% chance of losing the baby now that they have heard the heart beat. Don't worry if you don't feel any different. You probably won't feel pregnant until you start to feel the baby move, which is typically 18 to 22 weeks. I was lucky and felt it at 16 weeks and now at 24 weeks I finally look pregnant. I also did not gain any weight in the beginning, in fact, I lost weight during my first trimester due to m/s and I didn't gain any weight until about 17 weeks or so. I'm sure everything will be fine.
