Caring For Younger Child While Pregnant

Hi, I am 26 1/2 weeks pregnant with my first pregnancy but I have a son that I adopted who is 7 months old. He is very attached to me and although crawling he is, of course, to young to walk so I have to carry him alot. He is about 20 lbs. Does anyone else get nervous carring their children alot while pregnant. I want to give him all the love he deserves but I also don't want to hurt the baby inside of me. I am really starting to show now. I have also been diagnosed with low lying placenta and am on pelvic rest so I get nervous because of that. Can anyone here relate???

i have a two year old at home that weighs 31 lbs and the docs said it is still okay to pick her up...but that when it gets uncomfortable i have to try not to pick her up as much...a 7 month old need more attention...have you discussed this with your doc?

I have a 21 month old at home - she weighs about 21 lbs. I do get nervous about picking her up, but my doc said that my body will let me know when I need to slow that down. Right now I am 21 weeks along and don't seem to have any issues. Good luck - ld
